With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that VIT Pune has an excellent records for the past several years for placements in Btech in Electronics and telecommunications. It is one of the prestigious colleges in India in terms of Placements, Academics, career, Facilities, Infrastructure and campus life. Internships are available for 3rd-year students, and placements are available for fourth-year students. COEP and VJTI are equally good for other branches, but for CS/IT, VJTI is the second best college in Maharashtra after IIT B.

Because VJTI is located in Mumbai, India's financial capital. All of the top companies come to VJTI for placements, and a few of them also come to COEP and PICT. However, VJTI provides more opportunities than these colleges. If you compare the placement statistics of VJTI and other colleges, you will notice that CS has the most opportunities at VJTI.VJTI is also visited by all of the world's top investment banks and financial services firms.Companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, CITI Bank, Barclays, Kotak, and Bank of America all visit VJTI. However, only a few of them visited COEP and PICT.

The hostels of VIT Pune are very nice and provide basic facilities to the students. There is an occupancy of 2 people in a single room. A single washroom is shared by 4 people. The cleanliness and hygiene of the hostel are also good. The college has tie-ups with different hotels which serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the students.  The hostel also has WIFI and Tv facilities. But there are limited seats available in the hostel.

Hostel facilities in VIT Pune was good but 60% of students can’t stay in college hostel, they are in in private hostels. In VIT Pune they are giving one room to two peoples and one bathroom sharing to four people itself.

According to cleanness, hostel management take the responsibility to clean the hostel every day and coming to mess part, food will be ok ok for only mess part they will charge 30000/- per year and total facilities like TV, Wi-Fi...etc. they will charge 40000/- per year.

Total fee for boys——70000/- per year

Girls——-60000/- per year

Coming to private hostels, which are near means 5km to the college. They will charge 4000/- per month and facilities are good than college hostels, if you want to take the food outside, there is three hotels near your hostel. Coming to cleanness part, too much cleanness is there as compared to college hostel and there is park availability at the hostel.

The difference between prime and regular hostels is that the prime one's only have a better look and AC in the room. Also the fees are higher for the Prime hostels.

1. VIT is autonomous so It is free to decide its curriculum.  their academic pattern is significantly different from the colleges coming under Pune University, PCCOE being one of them.
