IIITs are much better than VIT. VIT is an average Institute with good students having average and sometimes below par faculties(exception are everywhere). IIITs have far better faculties and facilities than VIT. VIT has good infrastructure but not enough for students studying there as its student intake is very high

Many new IIITs lack their own campus and thus fail to provide students with many things, which are essential for their student life. But I can definitely assure you that IIIT, is way better than VIT. Not only it is an institute of national inportance, but also has its own campus and is thriving there. With great faculty and many extra cuurricular activities in form of clubs and competitions, IIITG has become a role model for the ew IIITs.

Hello student,

Congratulations for scoring such great percentile in MHTCET 2021. With this good percentile, you can get admission in some of the good colleges of the state. Also, as you are a OBC category student, your chances of admission increase. However, its quite difficult that you secure admission in VIT Pune for TFWS as its cut off is quite high as the number of seats are less. However, you can also try for institutional rounds admission

Here is a list of some of those colleges:

  • Thadomal Sahani College of Engineering
  • Rodrigez College of Engineering
  • PVG College of Engineering
  • VJTI
  • SPCE
  • DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering
  • Walchand College of Engineering
  • Thakur College of Engineering
  • PES Modern College of Engineering
  • KK Wagh College of Engineering

Hello,

I hope you are doing good,

According to the credential provided by you and previous years cutoff you have very low chance of getting a seat in Computer Science and Engineering in any of the above mentioned colleges.

But you can apply for them in any other branch can have a option of Branch change before second year.

Or you can directly apply for them as the cut off changes every year.

For more clarity what college you can get with these marks you can use our college predictor tool:

Hello student,

Honestly speaking, both colleges are of almost the same level for CSE branches. The core difference comes whether what location you want to study in - PUNE or MUMBAI. Both colleges are private and autonomous affiliated to their respective government aided universities.

However, you can have look at the links below for better comparison of both the colleges:

Hello student,

VIT Pune is one of the most prestigious institutes of Maharashtra where you can get admission on the basis of your MHTCET as well as JEE marks via DTE counselling rounds.

The branch cutoff that you are asking is for the new branch that has appeared for admission previous year itself. So, predicting a constant percentile range for it is quite impossible because of its newness. However, you can have a look at the link below to check out the cut off percentiles of it along with all the other college same branch to get a better idea of the same

Dear Student,

Yes there is NCC unit available in VIT Pune after a significant physical screening you can enroll in the NCC.

Hello student,

VIT Pune is one of the top colleges of Maharashtra and in the Pune region. So, it has a very high cut off percentile. Also, you expect to get admission in the CS branch of VIT Pune, which in turn has higher cut off percentile. Mostly admissions and cutoffs are based on the percentile scores of the students. However, predicting MHTCET percentile on the basis of marks is very difficult as it depends on various factors such as shift and subject wise difficulty, number of students appearing for the shift, etc. However, as the cut offs are as high as 99+ percentile for VIT Pune CS branch, I suggest you to try and keep a score at least 160+. This will ensure that you get the necessary percentile for the college and branch you desire independent of the fluctuations in the shift difficulty and percentile roundoffs.

Hello student,

You may get admission in VIIT/VIT Pune on the basis of your percentile as well as backed up by your category preference, but, you may have to compromise with your branch accordingly. As far as MIT Pune is concerned, you have higher probability of admission there. You have to contact with that college as its a university and you may get admission directly on the basis of Institutional rounds.

Hello Aspirant,

Congrats on your JEE Percentile.

As your are willing to join Vishwa karma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune. Here admissions are done based on JEE and MHT-CET. Coming to your percentile, there are good chances for you to get a seat in VIT. But, for CSE I cannot predict your chances completely because the cutoff always keeps changing from year to year. If any reservation is on your side then it will help you even more. All I can say is keep up with your patience until the last round to hold chances for the seat.
