Chandigarh University Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #1 Among all Private Indian Universities in QS Asia Rankings 2025 | Scholarships worth 210 CR
Hello dear,
According to last year cut-off you have very less chances for getting admission in Cs branch at VIT Pune because last year cut-off was little higher then this so you have to wait till last round.
Hope This Helps
Hello Aspirant,
In an admission process there are seat reserved or divided for home state students which means students who have passed their 11th and 12th from that state itself are eligible for that seat. Eligibility criteria is different for different admission process. The students who are from that particular state in which the university is present will get first chance for admission into it and that university is home state university for them.
The cut off is not affected but the students of home state are given first preference and their admission is done first in the university.
Regards.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you doing well
As you have doubt regarding fees so basically total fees of VIT PUNE is Rs 7.40 lakhs for 4 years ( for open category students) and for each year of Btech(for all branches) it is Rs 1,84,935.
Hope this information helps you
Sorry ,VIT, PUNE doesnt have civil engineering branch. If college matters then you may go for other branches.
And if you want to pursue in civil engineering in maharashtra then i would suggest COEP AND WALCHAND, SANGLI(oldest civil engineering department in Maharashtra)
And if you want to stick to core branch then go for mechanical at VIT PUNE. Its really good and you will have good exposure.
Hi Abhishek!
Both VIT Pune and WCE , Sangli provides all the required facilities to students such as smart classrooms, cafeterias, hostel and internet facilities, library , well equipped labs, etc. The faculty members in the both the colleges are highly supportive and are always ready to help students. Coming to the placements, as we know that VIT is popular for its placement records, especially for CSE and IT. But for Civil engineering, the placement record of WCE, Sangali are better than that of VIT Pune (70% placement record).
Thankyou!
hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. your score is really good and you have chances on below mention colleges :
K. E. Society's Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Walwa, Sangli
Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha, Priyadarshani College of Engineering, Nagpur
Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering,Shegaon
Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology & Research, Amravati
among pict, vit pune, walchand sangli., I have rearrange the college based on placement, college infrastructure, students faculty ratio and students review:
vit pune
walchand sangli
pict
now coming to your rank , dte maharatra conduct counselling process for direct admission to btech 2nd year course based on diploma course qualifying score. so it varies year to year, it is difficult to predict the rank since it depends on number of applicants, students category, domicile etc.
hope it would help.

VIT Pune has a well-developed campus with modern infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with smart boards to facilitate digital learning. The labs are well-equipped with the latest technology and high-end computing resources, particularly for CS, AI, and robotics. The central library offers a vast collection of books, research papers, and digital resources, allowing students to stay updated. The Wi-Fi-enabled campus ensures seamless connectivity for research and online learning. Hostel facilities are available but limited, leading many students to opt for PG accommodations nearby. The institute also has a canteen, medical facilities, and sports grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and indoor games like chess and table tennis.
Well organised structure but classrooms can be improved and they have already started working on adding smart tables that include switches for charging laptops and mobiles. Parking of the college is a big issue though. Students coming late or having lectures in the second part of day need to park their vehicles on ground which isn't a good thing.
The college infrastructure is well-equipped with modern classrooms, high-speed WiFi, spacious libraries, and advanced labs. Clean hostels, sports facilities, and a vibrant campus enhance the overall student experience. (220 chars)
