XIMR has good placements. HDFC Bank is a major recruiter of this university. Last year, the placements were slow due to the demonetization. However, it has been slowly picking up. XIMB accepts GMAT scores in its admission procedure. The minimum score required is 550. In order for you to apply in this college you should have at least 550 score in GMAT. If you have cleared this cut off, then you will get a call for the further rounds of the admission process. You have scored 600 in GMAT which will help you get a call if you apply. Furthermore you have a work experience of 18 months as an Assistant Manager in Vedanta limited, this might help you and provide an edge over the others.

Besides GMAT, there are other exams that you can appear to for applying at XIMB. They accept scores of XAT/CAT/XGMT/NMAT. The minimum eligibility required for applying to XIMB is having a minimum 3 years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree. At least 55% marks is required to be attained from a recognized university.

The further rounds include a Personal Interview, Written Ability Test and Group Discussion rounds. The final selection is done after considering the cumulative score of all the rounds and considering the profile of the candidate which includes work experience (if any) and past academic records.

The conversion of any wait list student is always 50-59 and nothing can be predicted with surety. Most of the students leave the seat of a particular college in order to take admission into other college better than this college and if that happens then students get the conversion very easily.

I will suggest you to wait till the final results are out. Although I think it's slight difficult at this wait list no plus you being a non domicile student.
