IIT Madras has structured the Chemistry - II certification course offered by Swayam. The institute’s Prof K Mangala Sunder teaches this elective program which consists of eight assignments. The curriculum is built at postgraduate and undergraduate study levels, which students can comfortably finish in eight weeks. 

The Chemistry - II certification syllabus introduces molecular spectroscopy, a vital part of physical chemistry. Understanding this branch is essential for all biologists, material scientists, and chemists. The course also teaches about the experiments used to verify various quantum mechanics concepts. Researchers will learn detailed information about molecules, including their bond angles, length, strength, accompanied by their magnetic and optical properties. 

The Chemistry - II training is well-suited for B.Sc. or undergraduate students and postgraduate students in their first year. After acquiring profound knowledge about molecular spectroscopy, they can also opt for the final exam and receive a verified certificate with IIT Madras and NPTEL’s logos.

Quantitative Methods in Chemistry online course is an elective undergraduate-level programme offered by Swayam. The course will introduce you to the field of analytical chemistry in eight weeks. The curriculum also dives into various research problems and discusses real-world topics and issues related to the subject.

Furthermore, the Quantitative Methods in Chemistry certification will train you in scientific reporting and testing experimental data using statistical analysis. The course has been designed and delivered by IISER Bhopal and is intended for students pursuing BSc and BS-MS courses in Chemistry.

Through the Quantitative Methods in Chemistry program, you will learn about concepts like chemical stoichiometry, hypothesis validation, sampling, data analysis, and chromatography, along with many other exciting topics. Apart from the video lectures and modules, you will have to submit regular assignments that will later be counted in the final score.
