Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you yes you have very good rank and you can certainly get admission in V.I.T vellore, chennai, amaravati and bhopal and yes you can definitely get V.I.T in category 1 as you have obtained very decent rank.
Hi aspirant,
At first congratulations on getting such a terrific rank in VITMEE. No entrance test for Masters in Vellore institute of technology was conducted this year and a rank list was announced based upon the performance of candidates in the final year of their bachelor's course. You have a very good chance to get a seat in computer science and engineering with specialisation in big data science or internet of things at the main campus under category 2 or 3. The students were asked to choose their preferences and seat allotment for the same would be announced on 5th July.
You can check all the details about VITMEE at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/vitmee
Hope it helps!!
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well...
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) conducts the Vellore Institute of Technology Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) to offer admissions to candidates in its Master's programmes.
Keeping in mind the present scenario of the pandemic, VIT has decided to cancel the VITMEE examination for the year 2021. Instead, M.Tech and MCA admissions will be based on the candidate's Bachelor's degree performance.
GATE qualified candidates will be given preference during the admission process. Non-GATE candidates will be admitted based on their academic records (up to pre-final year performance). The admission counselling will be conducted online.
The online classes are scheduled to start in the second week of August 2021.
For further information, refer here: https://vit.ac.in/
Hope this was helpful.
Should there be any other query, please feel free to ask.
Good Luck!
Dear Rahul,
The total number of students appeared in the exam is the total number of rank, there is not a fix data still around 2 lacks students are appear per year in vitee and that would be the rank.
Both of the campusus are considered as a good campus for any course but still if you go with the rating then Vellore campus beats the Chennai campus in every prospect like Placement, faculty, Infrastructure, management. If you are getting both then I will prefer you to go with the Vellore campus, now its totally up to you whether you take Vellore or Chennai.
Best Of Luck!!!
Helli aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.According to previous years VITMEE cutoff you can VLSI in VIT Vellore if you have ranked 300-400.According to your rank you can get admission in category 2 in vellore. But,with the same rank you can also get admission in VIT Chennai in category 1.So,I would recommend you to take admussion in VIT Chennai in place of VIT Vellore as both the campuses have almost everything in common, its just that you have to pay more in category 2 in Vellore than category 1 In Chennai. So,choose accordingly.
And yes, your fees will be on yearly basis and not semester wise.
I hope the answer helped you.
Good Luck!!!
Dear Aspirant,
Due to COVID in many states there are lockdownin many states . So VIT is providing the remote area online exam in 2021. The VITEEE exam 2021 will be conducted as a online remote-proctored examination (ORPE). VITEEE candidates are supposed to take the examination at home or in any place under a safe and congenial environment. You can give the exam wherever you want to give but make sure that in that area the connectivity network is strong.
For more and updated information on VITMEE check this link:- https://news.careers360.com/viteee-2021-exam-guidelines-for-online-proctored-exam-check-here#:~:text=VITEEE%20exam%202021%20will%20be,a%20safe%20and%20congenial%20environment.
