Scope
Hey Aspirant,
With India’s growing economy, you would find plenty of opportunities in production engineering with upcoming factories in the SME sector, as well as MNCs entering the market, else you can even look at related industries like the IT industry, the telecom industry etc. Production engineers are employed in engineering offices, in industrial, trading and professional associations, and in the civil service, for example, in trade and industry supervision offices or in industrial and employee safety offices. You may also work as a freelance in sales or consultancy. Self employment opportunities are also available as consultants or specialists in methods and work operation usually after suitable years of industrial experience. You can also join private consultancy firms, R&D establishments of big companies or as purchase engineers and technical sales managers.
Hii,The subjects you have mentioned are totally unrelated. However, the prospects of a job post an undergraduate course are not very encouraging. Unfortunatey in India, an undergradute degree is considered as a base qualifier for applying for post graduate professional certification or degree programmes. Not that you would not land up a job post your under graduation, however you would need more to make a career and move up the ladder.
Dear aspirant, as per the future scope of this branch of engineering, the health care industry has been emerging on a very fast pace as well as scale.with the annual growth rate of 30% in India. Thus with the rapid pace of the growth comes the ever increasing demand for highly skilled and well trained medical engineers.
hope you get it.
for further queries, let us know in the comment section below.
Hello aspirant,
Petroleum engineering has three streams : Upstream, gas and downstream. Well, it is a stream in which you work on Petroleum, getting the crude oil to refining it, to sell it to customers. There are many companies who hire Petroleum engineers like Schlumberger, Halliburton, cairn oil and gas, she'll, baker Hughes, L&T and many more. Also for government jobs: ongc, hp, indian oil etc.
Hope it helped to clear your delimma
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
As you will be knowing that Aviation Industry is a subject with endless possibilities for career options. AE/ME students can choose their career in design, development, production, operation, and use of aircraft. They are placed in some of the top aeronautical and other industries in India such as:
These aeronautical industries are also inviting (B.Tech) CS Graduates as software developers.
You can also pursue MBA.
Institutes offering MBA in Aviation Management:(Eligibility any graduate )
Thank You & All the best!
Dear Student,
Computer Science is considered one of the best career options, not only in India, but globally. This stream provides a variety of exciting employment opportunities in some of the best companies of the world, a job in this sector computer science is actually the next best thing to a government job. So what are the best career options that one can pursue after B.E in computer science ?
Technology manifests itself in so many ways in our lives that it is not possible to separate it from us. The computer has become a ubiquitous device and therefore the computer science engineering stream has also gained in prominence and popularity over the past two decades. The success stories of companies like Facebook, Google, and the rising profits of IT solutions providers like TCS, Infosys and Wipro back closer to home has made it even more obvious for students to go for a career in this field. The $270 billion Indian IT industry is on the way to be the largest IT industry on the planet while TCS is the third largest information technology services provider offering reasons to cheer for candidates deciding in favor of a career in this field.
ALL THE BEST!!!
There are a couple things to be noted here.
Biotechnological Engineering, I'm assuming, is just a degree in biotechnology. Now, unless you are sure about that narrow field, don't do it. Biotech is amazing(I myself want to get into it) but it's only for those who are sure about it. In the US, biotech is growing very quickly, particularly biopharmaceuticals. Conventional drug development is no longer possible. In India though, I don't think there is too much innovation. Demand is limited. Pay isn't great.
Biochemical Engineering is just chemical engineering but with a larger biochemical focus. So you would take more organic chemistry, a little cell biology, etc. This has an advantage of being part of chemical engineering, a flexible and lucrative degree if you do it right. You could go into pharma, biotech, etc with biochem Engineering. However, just like most branches of Engineering in India other than Comp Sci, the pay isn't that great.
At the risk of sounding Indian-antinationalist, I'm gonna say that you want to be in the US for both these fields, preferrably from one of the top universities here(Stanford, MIT, Princeton, UPenn, Johns Hopkins, GeorgiaTech, UW-Madison?, etc.) The industry is undergoing so much innovation here. Rapid changes. The US owns 48% of the global pharma market and has the only significant biotech and pharma concentrations anywhere. Every serious pharma and biotech company has a stake in the US.
If anyone disagrees, please comment. I would love to hear other opinions.
