At this rank you holds  no chances of getting admission in tier-1 colleges like NIts. I would suggest you to try for state university  which are goverment and have less fees like guru gobind singh university , MDU university haryana , Punjab university. what are all the possibilities for entering into ISRO I am only girl child coming under general category studying in 12th standard CBSE

Subhrajit Mukherjee 26th Mar, 2021

See there can be a quite number of ways to get into ISRO.

  • You can be ISRO scientist by qualifying the ICRB exam after your BTech.
  • You can be ISRO scientist by taking admission in IIST which will make you eligible to get a job in ISRO after the completion of your BTech directly. IIST is the abbreviation Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology. You can get admission in IIST by qualifying JEE Advanced Examination.

I will say if you have good preparation then try for the second one to fulfill your dream of being a scientist at ISRO.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

why there is a column of SINGLE GIRL CHILD in neet application form

Anurag Khanna 15th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See there is no any reservation for single girl child at national level or AIQ counselling of NEET but at state level some states use to reserve some portion of seats for single girl child and for those who are twins so only for that purpose it is asked under NEET application portion. Some states like Punjab, Assam and some other use to provide this kind of reservation for all entrance exams and admission in their state.

Apart from this there is reservation of other categories like UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS and PwD(Horizontally) :-

Category

Reservation

Scheduled Caste

15%

Scheduled Tribe

7.5%

Other Backward Castes

27%

Economically Weaker Section

10%

Persons with Disability (PwD)*

5%

Candidates having disability/PwD certificate showing disability more than 40% are eligible for horizontal reservation across all categories including unreserved seats.
