completed my schooling upto 10 th in odisha, intermediate in Andhrapradesh, and all my certificates like caste, income.... etc are from odisha, so for jee mains, what will be my state of eligibility???

Anirudh Singh 26th Dec, 2020

Hi.

State code of eligibility means the code of the State from where the candidate has passed Class XII (or equivalent) qualifying examination by virtue of which the candidate becomes eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2021.

If a candidate has passed Class XII (or equivalent) qualifying examination from one State but appeared for improvement from another State, the candidate’s State code of eligibility will be from where the candidate first passed the Class XII.

I hope this answers your query.

Good Luck

I have obc certificate issued by delhi govt. but I had done my schooling from chattisgarh so will I am eligible for obc quota of JAC Delhi?

Nive 23rd Dec, 2020

Hello, it depends on what state you are claiming admission. If you apply by home state quota of Delhi then certificate by Delhi government is accepted. But if you are applying in the other state quota of Chhattisgarh then you will be needing a OBC certificate from Chhattisgarh government.

Hope this helps.

I am a student of certified government school in West Bengal appearing in 2021 for 12th. I am permanent resident of other state(not bengal) but I have done my schooling from 5th to 12 from residential school in kolkata.Shall I be eligible ror the a2 domicile certificate of west bengal for neet.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jan, 2021
Hi

As per the memo issued by government of West Bengal Directorate of Medical Education on 9.11.2020 regarding West Bengal State quota for neet 2020 counselling,
to be eligible for West Bengal State quota either candidate or his /her parents must be domicile of West Bengal.

To be domicile of west Bengal, you need you need to fulfill any one of the following:-

  • Proforma A1 :- domicile certificate  for candidates residing in West Bengal for last 10 years continuously as on 31st December 2019

  • Proforma A2 :- domicile certificate  for the candidates residing in West Bengal for last 10 years continuously as on 31st December 2019 and also passed 10 + 2 from West Bengal

  • Proforma B:-  domicile certificate for candidate not living in West Bengal continuously for the last 10 years but his /her parents have permanent address in West Bengal and residing continuously in west Bengal for the last 10 years as on 31st December 2019.

So,
it doesn't matter even if you have done your schooling from Class 5 to class 12th in West Bengal, you can't get A2 domicile certificate if you are not living in West Bengal for the last 10 years but if you are living in West Bengal for the last 10 years then yes you can get domicile certificate and you will be eligible for West Bengal State quota.
Or even if your parents have been living in West Bengal for the last ten and have permanent address then in that case also you can get domicile certificate under  proforma B.

can i get my ews certificate made from a different state where i am living currently but where j havent done my schooling from???

Shrishty sahu 8th Dec, 2020

Dear student,

EWS certificate is a national certificate which is passes in 2019 by the national government with a constitutional amendment. So you can definitely apply for the ews certificate from any other state, also apart from the state where you studied or lived earlier. So do not worry as there will be no problem.

I belong to obc category 1, but I never issued a scholarship during my schooling. will I still be considered caterogy 1 for Neet/Jee?

Shrishty sahu 30th Nov, 2020
Dear student,
To prove that you belong to obc category you need to generate a certificate for the same from the competent authorities. It does not matters whether you took a scholarship in school or not. A list of authorities has been mentioned on the official sites of jee and neet for every state from where you need to issue that certificate.

ayanmukherjee045 25th Dec, 2020

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know about whether your obc certificate will be valid for dtu or not and also you want to know about the cut off for cse in dtu.

I would like to tell you that if you have domicile certificate of Delhi then it's good but if you don't have domicile certificate and you haven't done your schooling from Delhi then it won't be applicable.

Here is the link for college cut off-

I have a question suppose a student have obc certificate of delhi but he had done his schooling from chattisgarh and gave jee mains wanted to take admission in DTU so he will get the benifits of certificate or not?

Anirudh Singh 23rd Dec, 2020

Hi.

JEE Mains only accept the Category Certificates issues by Central Government so the OBC Certificate will not be accepted if its from Delhi only. Also, if you wish to avail the home state quota during DTU Admissions, it is necessary that you should have completed your class12th from a high school in Delhi. Thus, if your schooling has been completed in Chhattisgarh then you will not be eligible for Home State Quota.

If you have a further specific query please feel free to comment.

Best of Luck.

i done my schooling from UP board and now i am graduate with b.sc(mathematics) now i am planning to do 11th and 12th again with bio and then appear for NEET

Aarti singh 10th Nov, 2020
Hello shaiv
I think, after graduation , you are planing to do again 11 and 12 with bio and then you are aiming for neet ..
This decision is not good and it may be create various problems in your career .. Because you had alraedy done a graduation with mathematics, and you have Various opportunities if you look into this line ..
But if you are doing 11,12 again and wants to do neet..
This may take 2 year and even after that there is no surety that you will clear the neet exam or not..
This decision is not good for your career.. It's better that, you take your graduation seriously and look forward in your career with that..

Hope this answer will help you to solve your query
