Hi Aspirant,
JOSSAA counselling is mandatory to get into IIT NIT.The registration and choice filling process is mandatory for any qualified candidate interested in joining any of IITs,NITs and other GFTIs.Management quota Is not accepted in NIT IIT or any such govt institution. You have to get through counselling only.

Dear Student,

No you can not get seat in NIT or IIT without JOSSA counselling because admission to NIT or IIT is done on the basis of merit in JEE mains or JEE advanced marks through JOSSA as NITs or IITs are government colleges you can not get direct admission. If you are from reserved category then you surely get seat with less marks in JEE mains or advanced in some good colleges other than nits  otherwise you have to clear cut off for JEE Mains or  advanced

Thanks
