Maybe you'll feel that being an LNMIITian i'll be favoring LNMIIT here, and yes some how that's true. Yaa i won't say that college as a Brand doesn't matter but the most important thing out of it is the Environment the college offers the facilities the motivation and the relaxation for things other than academics. And LNMIIT has maintained it's legacy to participate and let participate each and every one out here in various thing but the only constraint you are required to face is of your CPI and the higher CPI helps you out at later stages too.

But yes if you feel reservation is a benefit than definitely go for thapar because here admission's are based on marks and no one gives a damn to those who don't fall under the cutoff whether they are SC, ST or some other reservation category.

Hope this clears your doubt!!!
