Hello Aspirant,
SASTRA University commonly provides concessions and scholarships based on merit in class 12 board exams and JEE Main purposes with regard to board merit you need above 95% in PCM (or on aggregate) to get bigger concessions, usually if you scored 90% and above you may get partial concessions. I suppose the exact cut offs may change yearly on application rates too.
Hey Bindu:)
Thanks for reaching out!
At Sastra University, fee concessions comes through the Dean's merit scholarship. The top 10% of the students (based on normalised 12th class marks) get concessions in fees. Out of this, the best 3% receives a 40% concession and the next 7% receives a 20% concession. Since your marks are compared with the board topper's score, there's no fixed cutoff, but usually 90-95% is needed for 40% concession and 85+% for 20% concession. So,the higher you score the better the chance of getting the concession.aim for highest possible marks, ideally above 90%
