In 1984, JSS Medical College in Mysore was founded. The college's campus has 43 acres of land in total. The University of Mysore initially served as the college's associate. The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, afterwards became JSS Medical College Mysore's primary affiliation, and it lasted till 2008. After then, JSS Medical College Mysore joined the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research as a constituent college. The Medical Council of India has granted approval to the college, which offers high-quality medical education. The college's mission is to provide medical education through research and innovation with the goal of producing professionals that are qualified.
