I belong to Maharashtra Board and i have subject of English, PCM,Electronics and EVS, so can i take EVS subject in top 5 subject for 75% criteria for JEE,i got 50/50 in EVS,so how to scale it to 100 ?

Hello Aspirant!!!

To take admission in any of IITs, NITs, CFTIs, IIITs, you need to have a minimum aggregate of 75% in this five subjects.

  1. Physics
  2. Mathematics
  3. Chemistry
  4. English
  5. Any other subject

Regarding EVS, you can confirmed by calling to Vashi Board, Maharashtra.

Yash Hi Could you resolve the issue of including EVS in evaluating 75% .. please let me know ! I am having the same doubt

You can include EVS for calculating aggregate percentage marks if it is not marked as an additional subject in your marksheet. Additional subject is taken into consideration for calculating aggregate percentage only if a candidate fails in one of the additional subjects.
