Hi there, congratulations for passing both the tests with flying colours. Let me tell you both the institutions are good in their own right.

B Tech IT programme produces graduates with broad understanding of Information Technology through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence which caters to the requirements of the industry. It primarily deals using, maintaining and improving computer systems with strong focus on courses related to technologies to solve business processes.

To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry.

A set of 4 to 6 elective courses in engineering to enhance competency in the technical and/or emerging domain. (e.g for electronic and electrical- students taking courses in automobile/ robotics/ cybersecurity to build competency in this area.)

Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs, etc. are an integral part of the curriculum.

The highest salary offered to LPU students was 40 lpa and 5.7 lpa was the average salary.

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have got 30% scholarship in lpu and you are getting computer science in cyber security,so I would ask you one question that do you really have interest in computer science or not, because if you don't have then you should wait for nits but if you have then you should opt for lpu because in this percentile you won't get Computer science in any good nits.

In this percentile your predicted rank as per my calculations is around 35k and you would getting metallurgy, civil and production type branches in jamshedpur, jalandhar, durgapur,Silchar, patna.
