Hi Chanchal if you are from general category then I don't think it is possible for you to get into college of engineering Pune in the popular streams because 98 percentile roughly translates to around 140 + marks so it really depends upon which stream you want in c o e p. Streams like computer science mechanical out of reach if you are from general category. Also other streams like civil extc have cutoff not words of 150 for general category. Hope for the best good luck

Sir ,then which college will be most preferable for me for computer science . Yes, I am from general category. Which are the other option inspite of COEP?

Chanchal.. While filling the form put the list for comps as COEP comps, COEP mechanical, COEP IT, VJTI comps, dj sanghvi comps, kj somaiya comps, thadomal comps, vivekananand comps, father angel comps, then you can mention IT of the above respective colleges. I am saying this because if at all like previous years rules, if you get the top 3 colleges in your list you have to take admission in it and then you will not be able to perform in future cap rounds. So be careful and put your ultimate and best choices at the top
