COEP Technological University, Pune has a Training and Placement Cell which acts as a facilitator and councillor for placement-related activities. As per the COEP Pune placements statistics, Rs 50.50 LPA was the highest salary package, Rs 11.35 LPA was the average salary package and Rs 4.00 LPA was the lowest salary package offered to students.

As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 report, during the COEP Pune placements 2023, 782 students were placed from UG 4 year courses and PG 2 year courses and Rs 6.50 LPA to Rs 9.75 LPA was the COEP Pune median salary range offered to the placed students.

Taking into consideration the condition of the job market these past few years, COEP has done adequately well. Better student placed percentages can be attained and it is being worked towards. The average package was around 20-25 lakhs.

Scoring 12 marks in the GATE EC exam is below the qualifying mark for the OBC category, which is usually around 22.5. With this score, it's unlikely to get admission in reputed colleges like COEP in Pune.
