In 2020 candidates belonging to OBC-NCL category with rank between 9001-20000 were shortlisted. Based on your overall expected rank it is very difficult to get seat in IISc, Bangalore. The eligibility criteria to get admission for the academic year 2021-22 in to BSC is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from a recognized board. Candidate who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science in addition to the above mentioned subjects are also eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to general category must score minimum 60% aggregate marks, candidates belonging to OBC-NCL category must score minimum 54% aggregate marks and for SC/ST/PWD category candidates it is minimum 30% aggregate marks.
