Women officers are taken into the Indian Army for looking into the legal formaities under the Judge Advocate General Branch. This is called the JAG entry Scheme. Every year 8 female Candidates are recruited by the Indian Army through this scheme. For being eligible for this, you should have completed your LLB or equivalent Law Degree Programme with a minimum aggregate of 55% and should have been registered with Bar Coucil of India or State. The Candidates should be within the age group of 21-27 years. If you are pursuing LLB, it is a 3 year course. As of 2020, you are approximately 35 years and you will turn 38 by the time you complete your course.  So unfortunately, you might not be eligible for this position. The maximum age limit is 27 years for other roles as well which means unfortunately you cannot join the Defense.
