For admission to the course, you need to have been qualified 10+2 from a recognized educational Board with a minimum aggregate score of 50% with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects. So, Bio is a must.The basic admission process in most institutes offering the course consists of an entrance examination conducted by the concerned university. But some offer upon percentage in 12th.
