Placements in NITJ are good. Around 80% of the students got placed from campus. The highest package offered was 75 LPA, the average package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest package was 5 LPA. Approximately 200 companies visit the campus every year. Internships are also offered by companies. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 1 lac, and the lowest is Rs. 30,000. There is a training and placement cell.

Hello Deepak, I would suggest you choose NIT Durgapur. It is amongst the top NITs in India and it is definitely better than doing production engineering from NIT Jalandhar. The placements of metallurgical engineering in colleges of West Bengal is very high. NIT Durgapur has better study environment and professors than NIT Jalandhar.
