also will this year this factor must be taken into account that the majority of students scoring 230+ in mains will do good in advance and accept seats in IIT??

You can check the cut off of the branches by the link which I have provided.
Yes, majority students will appear for JEE Advanced and if they get good rank they will take admission in IITs.
