Hello,

Don't worry; you will not face any major problem due to this. Because during the JEE document verification or college admission, you may be asked to provide an affidavit or ID proof to confirm that both names refer to the same person. Just carry the supporting document to avoid issues.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Hello,

Yes, you may face a problem if your father’s name is different in your Aadhaar card and your 10th marksheet. During JEE form filling or document verification, all details must match, especially your name, your parents’ names, and date of birth.

It’s better to get the correction done in your Aadhaar card or update it to match your 10th marksheet before applying or appearing for counselling.

If the JEE form is already submitted, you can still explain the difference later by showing valid proof (like a gazette notification or affidavit). But it’s safer to make both documents match now.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

Yes, this mismatch can cause minor verification issues during JEE counselling or document verification since names must match on all documents.

You should get your Aadhaar updated to match your 10th marksheet (the educational record is treated as correct).

If not possible before exam, you can still appear for JEE but make sure to carry an affidavit or Gazette name correction proof during counselling.

Hope you understand.
