Hii aspirant. Yes, surely you can. Anything is possible in this world with efforts and dedication

In the month of June 18,june 2022, the AIIMS M.Biotechnology exam is held. From here, you have three years to prepare. Don't be too concerned about it. Purchase two Pathfinder Publications books, Life Sciences Parts 1 and 2, which will be quite valuable for both your preparation and academic purposes. These two books, believe me, are sufficient to pass the M Biotech exam, but you must study them line by line and take notes.
It doesn't matter how much you prepare; it's how much you revise that counts, so start studying really in your last year. In the next two years, you can prepare your notes. One year is more than enough to cover the entire curriculum.

All the best !

Hello aspirant,

As NEET is now the common entrance exam for admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS, for AIIMS, JIPMER, other government, private and deemed medical colleges, there is no difference between the eligibility criteria between AIIMS and other government medical colleges. A general category student must score 670+ to get into any AIIMS.

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

  • UR - 50%,

  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

  • PWD - 45%

However. AIIMS offers many advantages over other colleges. Every day, 10,000 patients flood the OPDs at AIIMS, and that's just outpatient care (excluding emergency and wards).

The AIIMS receives yearly funding of Rs. 1200 crore. This translates to improved infrastructure and increased opportunities for students to do research. There's also Pulse, Southeast Asia's largest medical college festival. The timings of the hostel are unrestricted. The sporting facilities are excellent.

Hope it helps!

Hi

Admission in all the government & private medical colleges for mbbs is through neet marks only including AIIMS.

12th marks only helps you to be eligible.

Considering you from general category,

You need at least 60 % in PCBE aggregate in 12th to be eligible for mbbs in aiims and for almost all the rest of the government and private college you need at least 50% in pcb aggregate to be eligible .

To help you further,

Here are other relevant information:-

Though admission in Aiims for MBBS is through NEET, it has its own eligibility criteria which is given below:-

To be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  60  % in aggregate of PCB and English   in 12th examination  if belongs to general /obc category

  • at least  50%  in aggregate of PCB and English if belongs to st/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB and English in case of general pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

***** to be eligible for Aiims one has to be at least 17 years old  by 31st December of the year of appearing.

For more details checkout its official website at:-

http://mbbs.aiimsexams.ac.in/# !

NOTE :-  Important thing to note is while AIIMS considers aggregate in PCBE i. e physics chemistry biology and English  ,  Neet considers only PCB aggregate.

As admission in aiims is through neet , so you need to appear in neet and thus you need to be eligible for it as well.

Good Luck!!

It is true that general category students are very less in AIIMS because of the reservation criteria but it is wrong to say that it is impossible to get admission in AIIMS when someone belongs to general category . General category students can also get admission to AIIMS but they should be extraordinary so this makes less general ones to enter in AIIMS and it is easy for reserved ones to take admission in AIIMS infact approx 75 percent students are for reserved category . But with full dedication one can get admission into AIIMS.
