Yeah after Diploma,  you will have lateral entry into btech colleges in btech 2nd year directly. But you need to give an entrance exam according to the colleges which you wanna join. And you need to meet minimum eligibility criteria.

Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) with a lateral entry for candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech second year.

The duration of B.Sc Hons in Agriculture is four years while B.Sc Home Science contains an alternative duration period,  either four years or six years.

All candidates seeking admissions to B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme will have to appear in Entrance Test (ET)/ Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT) to be held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University.

Eligibility for B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) with respect to qualification and JEE /LEET (Lateral) Ranks shall be proved by the candidates at the time of counseling.
