College Level Counselling for MCA was held on August 11, 2025.
The college building is not too big but okay. Classrooms are fine, fans and lights work mostly. Library is small but has useful books. Campus is clean but not much hangout spots. Wi-Fi works sometimes.
Some teachers are really good and helpful, while others just finish syllabus. Classes can get boring at times. Syllabus is fine but not very practical. We do get presentations and assignments regularly.
Placement is not that great. Few companies visit and most roles are in sales or fieldwork. You have to put your own efforts to get a job. College gives some support but not much follow-up after that. Decent placement
The college offers a clean and spacious campus with modern classrooms, air-conditioned labs, and a decent library. Hostel facilities are good, and there’s enough space for cultural and sports events too.
The teaching staff is well-qualified and helpful. Classes involve presentations, group projects, and real-life business discussions. The curriculum is regularly updated to stay aligned with industry trends.
Placement drives attract well-known companies. Many students secure good roles in marketing, finance, and HR. The placement cell supports with mock interviews, training sessions, and job search guidance.
The campus is not so modern and spacious but there are some advanced classrooms, technology enabled labs, and a peaceful library. Sports and recreational areas add to the overall student experience. My experience here is good.
The teaching approach is interactive, with experienced professors and updated syllabus. Focus on case studies, presentations, and projects helps in practical understanding. I am persuing MBA form here and all faculty are good.
Top recruiters visit regularly, offering decent packages. The placement cell is active and supportive, with mock interviews and soft skills training to boost student confidence. Good campus placement with good package.
Honestly, the infrastructure isn’t great. Classrooms feel old, and sometimes basic things like fans or projectors don’t work properly. The library has limited books, and labs could really use an upgrade.
Academics are average at best. A few teachers genuinely try to help, but many just stick to the syllabus without much explanation. You have to rely a lot on self-study or notes from seniors to keep up.
Placements are pretty weak. Only a few local companies come, and the packages aren’t very impressive. If you want a good job, you’ll need to prepare on your own and apply off-campus most of the time. Average college
The college’s has a pleasant campus with neat well equipped classrooms and halls. The library has rich selection of all books and materials for study . There are also good areas for teamwork and chill time .
The academic environment is motivating. Faculty members Are experienced and easy to approach if you need guidance classes of an include case studies, data beats, and practical example that build strong skills.
Placement opportunities are encouraging several respective companies recruit marketing students, every year and the placement team is supportive, offering training session and helping you prepare confidently for interview.
I am happy with the infrastructure of the college the environment for the students here is very good, all it requires is to maintain the grounds for all over the year. Otherwise all other things are good .
I have studied b.com from this college and from my experience I can tell that the faculties are very supportive and they equally treats every student and help then to grow. They builds an personal connection with students so that they feels very native.
As I have only completed my undergraduation from here so there are very less chance of an under graduate student to get placed from here because mostly companies demand completion of PG degree. But in others courses there is good number of placement
The infrastructure of the college is decent, and there is healthy environment for the students. All the amenities are present and the basic needs are there. Grounds are in best condition and there are separate ground for Every sports
The teaching is very good by the faculties and the follow the proper schedule allotted by the college authorities to keep up with the syllabus which is pretty good thing . They focus on every student personally.
Placement record is decent and decent number of companies visits the campus for placement drive, many students got placement in good companies but it also depends on there skills and abilities to get that position
Yes Infrastructure is good. With good environment and facilities... basic facilities are available every thing is good. Good parking space, good amenities, classrooms are big and hygienic, auditorium is available for the cultural fests
I have completed my graduation in B.com and my experience at this college was very good all the faculties were very supportive and were full of knowledge they teach every concept and make them easy to understand
Placement were at good numbers many companies visited our campus but many of our batch students wanted to pursue PG after that so at that time very less amount of students get placed but from different courses many got placed
Old College, Old building some building are new but some are very old tipical government college, some classes don't have Projector some of them need renovation but no one cares bro , no drinking water no Ro , Nothing, Toilets are just useless on for urine,
Academics was actually good but it can create a pressure if u prepare for competitive exam , struck attendence , strict checking, but although process is smooth , strict checking s but you manage to get pass somehow
No placements don't expect one if you get it will be ok but if not try getting off campus, but you won't get one by sitting ideal in college also college won't help you , not conducted any seminars till now for placement
No college is very expensive if u get scholarship then ok but if not it's expensive, nothing getting also 28k for ba course for 6mos i didn't recommend this bro
No campus like everyone have its own tantrums, no societies , no events , no gathering nothing!! Plain college and life
DAVV is an average college in terms of infrastructure. The classrooms are okay, with good desks and functional blackboards, but the walls are in poor condition. The college lacks many essential facilities—there aren’t enough computers, and overall, the resources are quite limited. The canteen is decent; while it’s not the most hygienic place, it’s okay if you’re hungry. The food is good, nothing exceptional, but it serves the purpose. One of the good things about the university is the open garden, which is well-maintained and a nice place to relax. Overall, the college is okay, but it could improve in many areas, especially in infrastructure and facilities
DAVV offers a decent range of courses for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students, but the subject choices are quite limited. While there are many programs available, the flexibility to choose your own subjects is restricted. The courses are often specific to particular fields, and students don’t have the freedom to pick subjects outside of their set program. Though the university provides a variety of courses, they are not as wide-ranging as one might hope, which can be a limitation for students wanting more options.
The placement opportunities at DAVV are fairly average. While the university does have a placement cell that organizes recruitment drives, the overall placement rate is not very high compared to some other institutions. Many students get placed, but the companies that visit are often limited in scope, and the salary packages offered may not be as competitive as those at top-tier universities. The placements mainly focus on certain sectors, and students from specialized courses may find it harder to secure opportunities in their specific fields. Overall, the placement scenario is improving, but it still needs significant development to match the expectations of students seeking better career prospects.
DAVV is a respected university in Madhya Pradesh, attracting students from various districts. It offers a decent range of UG, PG, and PhD programs at a very minimal fee, making it a value-for-money option. While the infrastructure and facilities could be improved, the college provides a good academic environment. Placements are average but gradually improving. Overall, it’s a good choice for students looking for affordable education with decent opportunities.
Campus life at DAVV is not very happening as the university itself does not organize fests or major events. Students have to take the initiative and plan everything on their own, which requires a lot of effort and coordination. Since DAVV has multiple departments, managing events for the entire university becomes challenging. Due to this, the overall campus vibe is not as lively as in other universities. While there are some student-led activities, the college could do more to enhance student engagement and make campus life more vibrant.
Hi dear candidate,
At the DAVV Indore, the primary criteria for admission in either BBA or BCom is based on CUET UG marks and they do not release the cut off list from their side.
You would need marks around 350 collectively in all required subjects like Accounts, Business Studies, Economics and English in CUET.
DAVV also provides admission based on 12th class marks (50% minimum) and some cases if two candidates have same CUET marks then their 12th class marks are considered as tie breaker.

Hello
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) usually does not admit students to Class 12 based on merit since Class 12 is typically completed at schools, not universities. DAVV primarily offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses where admission is often based on Class 12 marks or entrance exams, depending on the program. So, for Class 12 itself, admission is generally handled by schools following their own criteria, not DAVV. If you’re asking about admission into DAVV courses after Class 12, then yes, merit based on Class 12 results can play a role
With a 295 score and UR rank of 790 in DAVV Group C mapping, you have a very strong chance of getting admission into the Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech programs, especially in CS, AI & DS, IT, and IoT. Generally, seats in CS/AI & DS are most competitive, but with your rank, you should be in a good position to secure one of these top branches in the first few rounds itself. If CS (AI/DS) is your first preference, you’re quite likely to get it.
