DAVV Facilities

DAVV provided all the necessary facilities to the students. DAVV facilities are provided so that students can get a comfortable environment for studying and that will help them in their overall personality development. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya facilities include a library that contains various technical, professional, journals, periodicals etc, there are separate hostels for boys and girls, a cafeteria that serves delicious snacks and food items etc.

The Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore has an IT Centre established to facilitate networking, internet services and solutions for filling teaching and research goals. Apart from these, each department of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore has laboratories for students to gain practical experience and exposure.

Boys Hostel
Hostels play an important role for students who come from far away to the university for study. Sometimes, it gets tough to find a place nearby the university. For this, DAVV Indore offers hostel facilities to the students. The varsity has a separate hostel for boys catering to the accommodation requirements of students.
Girls Hostel
When parents send their children to university for studying the biggest concern they have is ‘safety. And especially when it's about girls, for this, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore has a separate hostel for girls. The hostel is under the supervision of the warden that takes care of the safety and security of all the girls.
Medical/Hospital
A health centre is there in the university to have regular checks of students, faculty and staff members.
Library
The university library is computerised and all the members work on the computer. The library consists of various books, journals, periodicals, etc.
Sports
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore provides various sports facilities for both outdoor and indoor sports such as volleyball, basketball, gymnastic, chess, table tennis, and indoor games like carrom, etc
I.T Infrastructure
Established in 2000, the Information Technology Centre of DAVV Indore caters to the research and governance goals of the university. IT Centre to cover all the teaching departments and sections. Students and faculty members are provided internet using 1 Gbps internet lease line connectivity of NKN. This helps in conducting various online interactive programmes.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria is suitable for students on the university premises. A cafeteria is a place where students can come when they are hungry and need a little me time and can have delicious food items and snack at affordable prices.
Auditorium
Everyone in the university gets excited about the cultural events and activities that take place throughout the year. An auditorium is a place where all these events are carried out. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore auditorium can accommodate a good number of people at a time.
Laboratories
Each department of DAVV Indore has separate laboratories for students to get practical knowledge and experience.
Banks/ATMs
State Bank of India (SBI) branch is there in the college premises which offers ATM, internet banking, bill (Electricity & Water) deposits, and educational loans.
Convenience Store
The college has a post office that offers all types of postal facilities such as speed post, registered post etc,. The post office is open on all days except Sundays.

Old College, Old building some building are new but some are very old tipical government college, some classes don't have Projector some of them need renovation but no one cares bro , no drinking water no Ro , Nothing, Toilets are just useless on for urine,

College Infrastructure

DAVV is an average college in terms of infrastructure. The classrooms are okay, with good desks and functional blackboards, but the walls are in poor condition. The college lacks many essential facilities—there aren’t enough computers, and overall, the resources are quite limited. The canteen is decent; while it’s not the most hygienic place, it’s okay if you’re hungry. The food is good, nothing exceptional, but it serves the purpose. One of the good things about the university is the open garden, which is well-maintained and a nice place to relax. Overall, the college is okay, but it could improve in many areas, especially in infrastructure and facilities

Infrastructure of the college is best.Huge campus of DAVV that differentiate to others.The DAVV campus is surrounded around 500 acres.Campus is green.All facilities is available here like playground, library and many more.

What Is The Cutoff For Admission In DAVV Indore For B.COM Or BBA

Hi aspirant,

The cutoffs for admission to B.Com (Hons) and BBA programs at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) Indore are mostly based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG results .
While the exact cutoffs for 2025 have not yet been announced , based on past years' trends, a general category student may need to aim for a CUET score between 310-390 for B.Com (Hons) and 330-410 for BBA .
It's also worth noting that a minimum of 60% in 12th grade is usually required , and admissions are handled using an app-based online method.
Specific cutoffs can change from year to year , based on criteria such as the amount of candidates, their CUET results, and seat availability.

My jee mains rank is 185000 approx can I get civil engineering in davv indore

With a JEE Main rank of about 185,000, getting Civil Engineering at DAVV Indore is tough if you are in the General category because the cutoff is usually lower. But if you belong to the ST category, you might have a chance because their cutoff is higher. You should participate in the Madhya Pradesh state counseling and check other colleges too. Also, keep backup options like other branches or private colleges ready. Good luck!
