Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science and Engineering doctorate program offered at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati.

Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent in the relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks.

OR

Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent in the relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 7.0 or 65% of marks.
