Yes, the hostels and mess area is clean and tidy. Rooms and corridors are cleaned on daily basis by swipers and they are available till night. Whenever you want to cleanup your room you just need to give them a call.
Our syllabus includes case studies, simulations and many various types of projects which gives us a real world practical experience with objective from different situations of business. Institute update the curriculum on daily basis and we learn from guests lectures who are industry professionals.
The placement committee works really hard and makes us appear for every possible opportunity or company. We have training and development committee which form the back bone of placements and prepare the batch with every selection processes and arrange the practice sessions on daily basis.
Infrastructure is not at par as compared to old iims due to temporary campus, But seeing the temporary campus it's not bad too.Still there is a scope of improvement which will definitely be after moving to permanent campus.
Academic is quite rigorous here and one needs to work hard to clear the exam with good grades. Professor are really good at par with Old and new iims and very good discussion takes place in the classes.
Placements are good in the college and improving year by year, There has been a good increment in the no of recruiters and package offered bt them , There is a 100% placement record for the college with good roi.
The college infrastructure is really good with the latest equipped facilities like library, mess and sports ground. And yes even the wifi facilities are good with high speed at all time facilitating students like me in studies
I really like the course and the latest curriculum that has been taught and explained by our faculties. And personally speaking, I do find the study very valuable for myself helping me in learning and growing in life
Placement are doing fine according to me, almost every year 100 percent students are getting placed. Even the summer internship is picking up the pace considering the fact that it is a new generational IIM
The institute doesn’t have its own permanent campus till now. It was communicated that it would be ready by September 2023 ,however it is not even ready now. The basic facilities are there but it is not to the level of an IIM
I personally feel there is no academic rigor here as compared to the other Indian institute of management. I mean the faculties is okay but I guess the academic curriculum should be better and maybe with the latest trends
Placements are not that good. Students are not getting that good LPA as they are supposed to get as they are in an IIM,maybe this is because of the locational disadvantage. But things obviously needs to get better than what they currently are
The college does have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities like hostel, gym, admin block, library, mess etc. Also, the food is clean and hygienic. However, the taste of the food is not upto the mark
I am studying Master of business administration and I believe since it is an institute of national importance, it does teaches really good with the best of faculties and with the latest and trending curriculum.
Placements are okayish and could do better. The average salary offered is around 13-14 LPA. But I feel the number of people getting placed is little less that it should ideally be. However, yes, the college is supportive and try its best to get students placed
The college is still operating in a temporary building and the facilities are not that good but just workable. will be shifting to new campus by Feb 2024 so hopefully our batch will be the last to study on a temporary campus.like boys have hostels outside the temporary campus so it is a bother to travel and come to classes by bus (provided by the institution) and this bus schedule also wastes too much of our time. there are not many outdoor sports facilities only football, cricket and badminton.
I am studying MBA. there are two courses here MBA and MBA tourism management. the course structure offered is at par with major management institutions like IIM A, B, and C and the teachers here are also great except for a few
it is a relatively new institution so the package is not that high. the average last year was around 14-15lpa and this average will grow every year. the average sip stiped was around 50-60k . the companies mostly come for marketing roles like sales, BDA
for now, just because of the facilities and temporary campus, it doesn't feel like value for money. but we are sure to move to the new campus and then hopefully it feels like value for money rest academics are all good
kailash is an emotion for the boys. There is not much to do on campus at night because there are not many amenities present on the temporary campus. and hopefully, it will be better on the new campus. rest in the morning we are busy with classes.
College infrastructure is not so good right now since we are operating through temporary campus right now but with small campus we have facilities of almost everything be it football ground, cricket ground or anything.
All the faculties are great and they teach relevant material and they always try to make classes as interactive as possible and they give their best to teach the necessary details of the subject. All the faculty and staff are very helpful and supportive
I think right now this college is doing very good in terms of placement in comparison to other IIMs. Our placement committee is giving their best to place as many students possible and bringing new and different companies to the campus
Like other IIMs this IIM also cost almost same per year and I think it's very worthy investing money for such quality education. Being in an IIM is always worthy since it gives us a brand name of Indian Institute
It's very enjoyable campus life since our seniors are very supportive and helpful they always help us in surving in the campus and never trouble that makes our campus life more beautiful and also our campus has a scenic view of mountains that makes our campus and campus life cherishing
College has wifi throughout campus and hostels, bus shuttle facilities, and bathrooms are clean and all basic necessities met.. beds are good and there's also an almarah with good closet space... Overall satisfied.
Curriculum is very diverse. Human resources management, operations and supply chain management, financial management, strategic management, general management, IT and operations management. All these are included.
Placement opportunities are available to the students and they're thoroughly been prepared since the start. The big 4 and all the big names come to the college for placements, given the rich reputation.
Given the infrastructure, opportunities, academics, placements, quality of professors and teachers, rich and diverse students and peers, it definitely is value for money, given the reputation of the iim.
Campus life is full of excitement, and learning, best feature would be the quality of life after admission. Location is beautiful amidst the mountains, cool pleasant weather and big campus with fresh air.
Overall experience is truly satisfactory.. people struggle to get this far and after joining here, I understand the weight of that longing apart from academics and placements, the quality that iim brings altogether
As of now IIM Sirmaur is using a temporary campus. So I am giving it a rating of 3 star. But once they shift to the permanent Campus it will be great. Everything is well maintained. Living spaces are so clean and the food is also hygenic.
I'm doing my MBA from here. The quality of teaching is outstanding. The professors are very good here. There are some guest faculties also who come from the old IIMs and other premier institutes of India. The curriculum is updated and they just train you to become job ready.
IIM Sirmaur is doing pretty well in terms of placements. Almost all the top companies visit the campus for placements. Last year 150+ companies visited the campus. The highest salary offered was 64 LPA. the average was around 14 LPA. The placement committee is so supportive.
The cost for the whole course was around 16+ lakhs. And you are not going to regret on the money you spent since you are going to get the ROI from the campus placement itself. So, I won't regret my decision to spend this amount.
Campus life is amazing you will find all sort of events going on the whole time. From sports to cultural activities. The relation between student and support staff, teachers is very good. Also there are some rules for everything to go smooth and in a professional manner.
Our college boasts state of the art facilities. In classrooms, we have interactive smart boards, high speed WiFi and ergonomic seating for an engaging learning environment. Maintenance is a priority, ensuring that all facilities are well kept and functional.
As an MBA student, my studies revolve around gaining a holistic understanding of business management and strategy. The quality of teaching in my MBA program is commendable, as professors often bring a blend of academic expertise.
The quality of placements at my college is good. The placement rate at our institution stood impressively very high, indicating a strong track record of securing job opportunities for graduating students.
Yes, I absolutely feel that I am getting my money's worth.
Students, teachers and support staff are good.
No.
