No, you don’ require to give an aptitude test if you are willing to take admission into IISERs through JEE advanced channel. The criteria to take students through JEE channel is on the basis of the ranks he/she has secured in JEE exam. For general category an applicant must have a rank below 10k, and if an applicant belongs to some reserved categories then their category ranks must be below 10k.
Hope you got the answer you are looking for thank-you.
You need to score more than 100-110 atleast to secure a seat at the IISER.You can also get admission over there with your jee advance rank.If your jee advance rank is within 10000 you can apply. And for the exam you need to score good. The exam is not too difficult if all your concepts are clear.
Regarding your touch with maths, try to revise all the topics of class 11 and 12.You can follow some of the books like differential calculus by Amit M Agarwal and many more books of different topis of Arihant.
Best of luck.Study hard. You will definitely do well.
Hi
Marks are not released in IISER Aptitude Test. Hence, there is no cutoff. But try to score more than 110 out of 180. TRy to score maximum as much as possible.
Also you can get into IISER through KVPY and JEE Advanced. For further information, check this link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/iiser-merit-list-and-cutoff
All the best.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
There are three channels of admission. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through these channels.
1- Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel
2- Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) channel
3-State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel
No!! You can get into IISERs through jee advance.Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2018 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to reserved category (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000.
All the best
Hello Yash,
IISER, Pune is one of the premier institutes of India. You need to score 250+ marks in JEE Advanced to be on a safer side. According to IISER, Pune for admissions you should be top in the board. They only select students who have topped the board.

I hope it helps you!
Thank you.
Although it cannot be said with confidence, but with a rank of 809 in SA stream, it's a bit difficult to get admission into the choice of your subject (seeing past trends).
Hello Avinash!
JEE Advanced is really full of uncertainties. The variation of cutoff marks varies by a wide margin as compared to JEE MAINS. I'll suggest you to keep your score above 240-250 to be on the safer side. It is possible that you may get seat if your score is bit low also but why one should take a chance?
Try pushing your score above 250 and you may get IISER. After JEE ADVANCED the race is mainly for seat in IITs. So the cutoff for IISc and IISER remains bit lower.
Hope that helps!
Aryan, For Admissions to BS-MS (Dual-Degree) Programme 2019 in IISER, the institue clearly mentions the eligibility as " Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions. "
You can find reference from here: https://www.iiseradmission.in/eligibility/
If your 12th completed in 2019 than you can give SCB of IISER exam. This is the official site detail about SCB exam you can read carefully https://www.iiseradmission.in/eligibility/ .
This link gives you total complete information about your queries and also provide cutoff marks detail.
All the best dear MAYURI
IISER Pune, spread across under acres of land with a good infrastructure and facilities as it includes good classroom a good laboratories with a sports center as well and they were not hostile facilities being available as these all are used and being well maintained.
There is smart classroom with comfortable benches and a projector facility. Wi-Fi facility is provided to the students. Canteen of our college is average and the quality of food is good. The hostel food in good and healthy.
The college is big and beautiful. According to my prospective our college infrastructure is quite good according to other colleges we have a big basketball ground and a very big library in B Tech building and also have sanitation facility and water facilities provided in each department.
