IISER 2019 merit list is prepared separately for candidates who have applied through JEE Advanced 2019, KVPY and IISER 2019 Aptitude Test. 50% seats are reserved for candidates taking admission through IISER entrance examination. The cutoff marks for each course is different. Thus, candidates must be careful while checking the IISER cutoff list for a particular course.

IISER aptitude test carries total 180 marks.

IISER Aptitude Test 2018 cutoff was 77.9% i.e. 140.22

For SCB channel i.e. IISER aptitude test, 5% cut off relaxation is provided to OBC (NCL), SC, ST, KM & PD categories.

IISER conducts admission for its BS MS dual degree programmes through the channels- KVPY, SCB and JEE. The admission test will be conducted tentatively in the month of May. You can apply through all the three channels provided you fulfill their eligibility. For an admission through JEE Channel, you need to have a valid JEE Advanced score for direct admission. If you want to apply through SCB channel, you need to qualify the SCB aptitude test. If you want an admission through KVPY, you can try through a valid KVPY fellowship. Hey Ajay,

There are some ceretaria for asmission in KVPY.

It depends on birth catagory and region. If you are SC/ST then you have to minimum of 60% in 12th in Maths and science in 10th.

So please mention your caste and region.

There are only 3 channels through which you can join IISER and these are - KVPY, JEE and last one is State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel. So there is no entrance but if you are going through SCB then you will have to appear in aptitude test.
