Hi

Admission in both JIPMER and AIIMS is through NEET examination.

Yes, JIPMER eligibility criteria  is same as that NEET i.e a general category student needs at least 50% of PCB to be eligible.

But for aiims,
Though  admission is through Neet examination it has its own eligibility criteria.

The page number 11 of mcc counselling scheme pdf clearly mentions that it has its owneligiblity criteria, the link to download it is provided below

https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/Documents/UGSchemeFinal.pdf

Aiims eligibility criteria is given below:-

to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology and English and must have got:-

  • at least 60 % in aggregate of PCB and English in 12th examination if belongs to general /obc category

  • at least 50% in aggregate of PCB and English if belongs to st/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB and Englishin case of general pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for Aiims 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2021

You can check the same by downloading the official brochureof AIIMS Delhi for which link is provided below

https://www.aiimsexams.org/pdf/MBBS-2020%20update%20%7BProspectus).pdf

Another important thing to note is while AIIMS considers aggregate in PCBE i. e physics chemistry biology and English Neet considersonly PCB aggregate.
