Dear aspirant,
I want to bring into light a practical truth, that any entrance examination is set such that students would be able to solve it and get admission. No institution holds examination so that no student would be able to crack it.
Same goes with NEET. The examination paper would be as it used to be. A slight increase in difficulty level is obvious, as the new generation comes with all previous knowledge of their predecessors. New generation is always supposed to be more intellectual than the previous ones.
Hence, do not worry. Just be confident and prepare with a cool mind.
P.S. Feel lucky as you've (means entire batch) got extra time to prepare and rock the upcoming exam!
Good luck.
Admission to JIPMER for its 200 seats will be conducted through NEET score through All India Counselling. At this point in time, the procedure is yet unclear. But if you go by AIQ Counselling procedure, once NEET results have been declared and the merit list has been released, the DGHS on behalf of the MIC/NMC will release the online registration for counselling process. During the choice filling and locking process, you have to select JIPMER as one of your options. The seats will be allotted based on merit and preference. So if you want to secure a seat in JIPMER, you should score above 650 and have JIPMER as your first preference. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://dqxeclau.top/mbbs-companion.
Sakshi, Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. And yes your Category also plays an important role. Because for qualifying in NEET, if you belong to General Category, you need to score atleast 50 percentile of the top NEET score and it is 40 percentile for OBC,SC,ST. Now AIIMS and JIPMER will conduct the admissions through NEET score through All India Counselling and so the cut offs are going to be higher. If you belong to General Category, you will need anything between 625-675 and if you belong to Reserved Categories, you will atleast need 625. As this is the first year that AIIMS and JIPMER will be conducting admissions through NEET score, the cut offs mentioned here might differ either by a small or a larger margin.
Gowtham, AIIMS and JIPMER will conduct their admissions through All India Counselling. Even if you belong to BC Category, because AIIMS and JIPMER are 2 prestigious Institutions, you will have to score atleast 600-650.
To score at that level, you need a preparation strategy. Physics needs utmost focus and time because it involves with theoretical concepts and numbers. There should be a systematic approach in preparing for NEET. The important topics are Mechanics, ElectroDynamics, Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Simple Harmonic Motion, Waves. Formulae form an integral part of your preparation. Memorise as many formulae as you can and write them down and stick them as post its so that you can always see them. Practise regularly and try various kinds of questions. Solving previous papers and mock tests to test your improvement. Keep a clock and check the time its taking you to solve these questions. And improve the time as you practise more. One day of the week should be set aside for revision so as to keep the mind fresh. Chemistry is divided into Inorganic, Physical and Organic chemistry. For inorganic chemistry, you must refer to the NCERT. Organic comprises of many reactions and reagents which can be practised by writing over and over again. Physical chemistry requires a comparatively deeper understanding of concepts, so preparing with the NCERT and referring to study material a level higher than NCERT should be the way to go. For more information, please visit our page at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/how-prepare-for-neet-chemistry . Biology is the biggest section in NEET, comprising about half of the exam, and acing this subject can help you in scoring more in the exam. Human Physiology and Genetics have maximum weightage in NEET. It is advisable to practise questions of Genetics from previous year question papers, which will give you a thorough understanding of how the questions are being asked. Topics of Plant and Animal kingdom have a lot of portion to memorize. You can prepare these topics by making a comparative table for the sub-topics and studying it together. Plant physiology is also equally important and easy to score. For more tips, please visit our page at:

Hello Aspirant, Till last year Admission to JIPMER was based on the result scored in its Admission Test, but from 2020 Admission to JIPMER were on the basis of NEET Exam, so we don't have any cutoff of JIPMER through NEET, but we can say that if some one obtains a rank less than 1000 in NEET, then he/she will most likely get admission in JIPMER, marks can vary depending upon the level of paper from from 630 to 670,so if you obtain marks in this range you will most probably get admission in this College.
