Hi,

The cutoff for each college this year has not been released this even though the counselling has been done. If we go according to previous year, it was 589 and this year as cutoff's have gone high, you can expect the cutoff around 600 for KGMU.

This year in Uttar Pradesh candidate who scored 565(general category) didn't get a government seat so you can see the cutoffs have gone high.

In order to know more about up counselling you can refer following link-

I hope this helps.

Dear Bhavya, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, 2019 individual college cut offs haven't been released yet. In 2018, under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:

General Category: 589
OBC: 575
SC: 454
ST: 303

Now this is 2018 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors like no.of candidates appearing for NEET exam, no.of candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now since 2018, the general cut offs increased by 15 marks but in certain colleges the cut offs increased by 60-100 marks. Based on your Category and 2018 cut offs, you should aim for atleast 100-150 more than the current cut offs.

Dear Rahman, 2019 cut offs for Individual Colleges hasnt been released yet. However in 2018, the cut off for KGMU for different Categories under State Quota have been as follows:

General Category: 589
OBC: 575
SC: 454
ST: 303

Now this is 2018 data. The cut offs have increased considerably this year. In general the cut offs have increased by 15 marks and in certain colleges, the cut offs went higher by 60-100 marks as well.

Hello,

As per your requirement, i would say that as mentioned above you have got 288 marks and have ph category reservation of seats so you will definitely habe a lower cut off for admission.

But the colllege prefernc of yours mentioned above are all top rank and mostly demanded collegr so its quite diffcult there as you need to have atleasr 300+ marks to be on  a safer side.

Getting a seat in government medical college is depending on many factors like studenrs to seat ratio, cut off, reservation, ranking of college, etc

Apply for state and aiq counseling and see which collegr matches your marks.

Good luck

Hello aspirant , at any given moment you can not take admission simultaneously at two different placea. Moreover you need to get your orignal , certificate at the time of admission. You need to cancel admission at one place , else you cannot apply for other.

Hope it helps

All the best ..

hi apoorva,

your degree will be given by kgmu as it is the university your college is affiliated to. and your college's name will be mentioned too.it is always the universities which give the cerificate.

Hey.

The cut off for admission in King George's Medical University, Lucknow in the previous year for MBBS under the State quota for the OBC category was a rank of 3730 and a score of 575 marks. The cut off varies each year and this year will be higher than last year. So if you score around 150-200 marks in NEET you will have no chance for admission in KGMU as per previous year trends. Even for other government medical colleges in UP you will have no chances.

Best of luck

Hey.
The cut off for admission in KGMU, Lucknow under the State quota for the SC category in the previous year 2018 was a rank of 42372 and a score of 434 marks.
The cut off changes each year due to several factors like level of difficulty or level of Competition etc. This year as the paper was easier the cut off based on marks will be higher than before.
Considering your rank, and the previous year last rank you seem to have no chance of Admission here.
You can use the link below to check previous year trends.

Best of luck.

Hi Rahul,

Your marks are pretty good, congratulations for your marks. I hope you already would have applied till now for the 2nd round of the counseling process. There are 2 more rounds in the counseling most students don't know about. Mop-up round and stray round, in these the left over seats of the counseling are filled. You don't have to register again, but you'll get a chance to prepare new choice list. This is a link containing all the information about Mop-up round, https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-pg-counselling. But the college you get through this, you have to take admission in it. There are no backing up options. You will get a college for MBBS Rahul.

All the best and do ask for any further queries.

Hello Himanshu jindal, as you had got 5097 all India rank in NEET 2019 then it is difficult to get other 4 colleges mentioned above. Chances to get Dr RML college is very low. YOU CAN WAIT FOR UPGRADATION, but the chances are very low. You can go for SN medical College.
