Hey Neelam,

Hey Zahra,

It would be difficult to tell you your exact chances as cutoffs vary from year to year depending on various factors like no. of candidates appearing for the exam, no. of seats available, difficulty of the exam and the top NEET scores. The cutoff for government BDS colleges in UP for OBC category is generally around 478. So  your admissions chances are very good.

To know more about your chances, you can use the Careers 360 college predictor tool:

Good Luck.

Hey.

The cut off rank and marks respectively for admission in King George Medical University, Lucknow under the State quota for the OBC category was a rank of 3730 and a score of 575 in 2018. And in 2017 the cut off for admission here for OBC was a rank of 11,401 and a score of 548. Hence a score in a similar range would be safe for admission here. If you score 510 marks then you seem to have less chances for KGMU.
Best of luck

Hope it helps,
Good luck!!

Thanks for the question

King George's medical university has a high cutoff.

For an obc candidate, a score above 470 is suitable for getting admission into the college.

This is for the state quota.

For All india Quota, the cutoff will go higher.

Good luck

Hello Anjali,
With 597 marks, your chance to get a seat in KGMU is high through State Quota. Last year (2018), the AIR cut off was 397 which corresponds to a score of approximately 620 marks. This year, we are expecting a rise in the cut offs due to overwhelming competition. States Quota cut offs are lower as compared to All India Quota. Hence, the chances are better for you. However, please not that this is not the absolute dictum and it finally depends on the overall performance of other test takers that determines your percentile. Let's hope for the best.

Hello Aspirant,

As per the eligibility of Tamilnadu PG admission, The Candidates who have qualified from other Universities should produce ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Guindy, Chennai at the time of admission. You are eligible to apply in Arvind Eye Hospital after completing MBBS from KGMU Lucknow, UP.

It would be difficult to tell you the exact about your admission possibilities for the college as per your rank as State quota seats & Private colleges admission will be through state counselling Authority.

Good Luck!
