No our college do not have placement facility.clg do not provide any placement opportunities for students of nursing. No any hospital or institute visit to our clg for campus selection, this is the worst .
85,000 of each year.not felling worthy.
Campus Life is very enjoyable.
Overall clg is good and recomandable.
GMC, Kolhapur has one of the best infrastructure compared to most other peripheral medical colleges in Maharashtra. It has all the necessary lab equipments and well maintained classrooms. The college campus is spread out on 30 acres, there are different buildings for each of the the departments. The living spaces are clean, the hostels are spacious and well maintained. There’s multiple large playgrounds for students.
I am studying MBBS. It’s one of the best medical colleges in Maharashtra after the Pune and Mumbai colleges. The professors are very modern, very educated. The curriculum is up to date with the new norms introduced by MCI. There are world class lab facilities for accommodating the new developments.
100% of the students get a paid internship by the Government after the completion of the final exams of university. The stipend offered by the Government is ₹12,000 month as of today. In 5 years, it’s expected to exceed 25,000 per month.
The course cost for me, being an open category student is ₹1 lakh per year. The money is totally worth it. It’s believed that the government spends more than 30 lakh per year per student, so paying 1 lakh isn’t a big deal for anyone.
The college campus is huge, so much that it cannot be explored all in a day. Being located in Kolhapur, in the crest of western ghats, the weather is pleasant throughout the year. The campus is lush green 9 months of the year. The location is well connected to the main city, the area is not so crowded. Privacy is one of the biggest perks, everyone gets enough space and opportunities to grow. It is very safe, the campus is basically filled with 1000 to be doctors, emergencies can be well handled.
I have had a good time studying in this college so far.
