Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bangalorewas established in the year 2001. The institute is also known as NMIT Bangalore. NMIT Bangalore is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi. NMIT Bangalore is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum and it is an autonomous institute and is approved by the University Grants Commission and University Grants Commission.It has NIRF ranking of 74.

In my opinion Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), is better option considering it is in NIRF ranking under 100 and has more accreditations.
But i have provided you a link for both the college where you can read their pros and cons and then you can choose accordingly.

Yes NITTE College is good for management since the college provides good infrastructure and faculty members.The college provides all basic amenities like classrooms,labs,wifi and also a hall and big library.Faculty members are quite good and they always ready to help you in any situations.Moreover they are much qualified and experience.Placements are quite good and is possible if you maintain good academics in past sems.Renowned companies like IBM,Delloitte etc comes for placements.

New Horizon have good overall ratings. They have good overall ratings and consistent placement record, average placement record is 80%. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Amazon, TCS, etc. Highest package offered is 30Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 3Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 5-7Lakhs per annum. They have good infrastructure and they the students are provided with good, helpful teaching faculties.

Nitte Meenakshi College have good overall ratings much similar to that of New Horizon. They have good placement records but records are highly inconsistent, average placement record is around 75%. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. Highest package offered is 22Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 1.2 Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 3-4Lakhs per annum. They have good infrastructure and they provide us with good and qualified teaching faculties.

Prefer New Horizon over Nitte Meenakshi College.

You have not mentioned the course name in which you want to take admission hence I am going to give you a general idea about the two choices.

MVJ- Ranked 58 for engineering by India Today, the  college has a great infrastructure with well equipped and maintained laboratories. The faculty is good depending on the department you are going to be in. Some professors are very helpful while some are not but they are all highly knowledgeable and most have PhD degrees. The placements in CSE and IT departments are great with More than 70 companies  visiting the campus and average salary offered around 3.6 lakh per annum.

NMIT Bangalore- Ranked 74 for engineering by India Today 2020, this college is on eof teh best for CSE with about 90% students getting placed. The average package here too is about 3.6 lpa.The infrastructure is average and there is no all campus wifi. The teachers are helpful but the teaching quality is average.

Ece in nitte meenakshi College is good you can go for it as it is one of the top colleges in Karnataka

If you want to go for colleges like ms Ramaiah,rv college of engineering then you can try for them in next rounds

Both cmrit and nitte meenakshi are equally good in their own ways

So firstly it would be better to decide the branch and then go for college

The average package is around 5-6 lakhs for both the Colleges .

So first decide branch and then go for college.

The tuition fees are INR 58,806 per annum for all B.E programmes [admissions by CET]. But if you are joining through COMED-K, then the fees is increased to :- for COMEDK Fees: 1.83 L and College fees is 35k and Hostel fees : 60k + 15k (security deposit) finally for Mess fees : Around 2k per month.

Placement wise the Nitte Meenakshi college holds a really good placement record and has been ranked 128 by NIRF. it has a NAAC Score : Grade: A+ | CGPA: 3.33/4.

It has a campus size of 23 Acres and provides the following facilities: Facilities: Boys Hostel,Girls Hostel, Gym, Cafeteria, Library, Hospital/Medical, Tansport

  • Highest package: 27 LPA (Global), 19.4 LPA(National)

Considering the cut off in 2019 in round 2 you have chances of getting seat in the following branches in the colleges that you preferred

  • Bangalore Institute Technology:ECE
  • BMS Information Technology: Civil, Biotechnology and Chemical
  • JSS Academy of Technical Education : CSE & ECE
  • National Institute of Engineering: ECE
  • Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering :ECE

But cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.

New horizon college of engineering average  placements come around Rs. 3.6 lakh

The average placements in nitte meenakshi institute of technology is around rs 4 lakh.
