For SC /ST /PWD /BC category, it is 10% of the total marks.

The approx. cut off marks for B.A. were around 70 in the previous years.

Hey,
If you are talking about Admission to Panjab University affiliated colleges then, it is given on merit basis on the basis of marks obtained in 12th there are chances that you will get a seat but not in college of your choice
But if you want to take admission into the Panjab University Campus then the university holds an entrance exam for the same through which you will get admission
Hope it helps :)

Hey Mahesh.
For admission in BA/BCOM LLB in PU, 50% weightage will be given to boards exam percentage and the 50% weightage to Entrance exams result. As you've scored 93% marks in boards, you have a great advantage and it will make your chances of admissiom easier.
As per previous year trends a student scoring 90% marks in boards+  and if he scored 60-65+ marks in entrances would've easily got admission with a good rank.
But the marks required in entrance will matter a lot too and it might change this year due to factors like level of difficulty of paper or level of competition. Precious year trends vary a lot too. Sometimes 70-75+ marks are required in entrance and sometimes 60-65+ marks. As your boards marks are good you have a fair advantage. Prepare well for your entrance.
Best of luck

Hello,

Here the tags you have given for PU are different but in which PU you got 65% you haven't specified.

For JEE main yes you can take an admission in Government college in your domicile. you may get state quota or any other reservation to get an admission there. Along with that you should apply for Private colleges also. It's better to be secured. IF you get an private college through counselling then your fee structure will be low and you can apply for Tution fee wavier with your qualifications also.

to Get an IIT:- you have to qualify JEE Advance with a top score and for NIT you have to get a rank below 3k.

and +2 marks also matters and it should be above 90%.

So, look for any government or private college.

To get the list of collegesas per your rank and category, use the college predictor:- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

Hope it helps!

Hey,
If you want to take admission in Punjab University Campus in B.Com. then it is done by entrance exam.
But if you want admission in Panjab University affiliated colleges then it will be given on merit basis on the marks obtained in 12 th class
Which is on First Come First Serve Basis.
Hope it helps  :)

Hi Sukumar,
Hope you are doing well. There are no issues. COMED-K is a national level examination and it does not depend on where you have studied your PUC or primary classes. People can easily get a seat in desired colleges and in any part of  the country. There are no such restrictions in COMED-K as it is completely different from other entrance exams like K-CET. So you can get admission in any of your desired colleges in any part of the country. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.

All the best.

Hey.
For admission in BA/BCOM LLB in PU, 50% weightage will be given to boards exam percentage and the 50% weightage to Entrance exams result. As you've scored 72% marks in boards, you have a little disadvantage and you will have to work a little harder for the entrance exam.
As per previous year trends if a student scores around 72 marks in boards you should try to 75-80+ in the entrances for a fair chance of admission here.
As  the marks required in entrance will matter a lot too and it might change this year due to factors like level of difficulty of paper or level of competition. Precious year trends vary a lot too. Prepare well for your entrance
Best of luck.
