Eligibility Criteria:Graduation in any discipline from a recognized unniversity with 45% marks, for reserved categories it's 40%. The tentative dates for commencement of application form is May-June, 2020.

To pursue M.A.in economics from JNU you have to appear for JNUEE. The syllabus and books to refer for the same are :

  • Macroeconomics: (Dornbusch and Fisher, Macroeconomics,6e and Mankiw, macroeconomics)
    • National Income Theory of Income Determination
    • Monetary Policy
    • Trade and Balance of Payments
  • Descriptive Statistics : (Nagar and Das, Basic Statistics,RGD Allen, Mathematical Analysis for Economics, AC Chiang, Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics,Sydsaeter and Hammond, Mathematics for Economic analysis)
    • Mean, Median and Mode, Standard Deviation, Correlation Coefficient
    • Elementary Probability Theory
    • Mathematics for Economists (Elementary Algebra, Coordinate Geometry and Elementary Calculus)
  • Problems of Economic History, Underdevelopment and Growth:
    • India's Economic Development prior to Independence: India's Planning and Development experience since Independence; Basic indicators of Development.
  • Microeconomics : (Hal Varian, Intermediate Microeconomics, 7e, Rubinfield and Pindyk , Microeconomics)This will contain following subtopics
    • Demand Curves
    • Price and Income Elasticity of Demand
    • Cost Curves
    • Equilibrium of Firm under Perfect Competition and Monopoly

The entrance exam comprises of the two parts: Part A (MCQs) and Part B (short/long question type). The part B will be evaluated if you get shortlisted on the basis of your part A. Then aggregate of both the parts will be considered for final selection. It is better if you refer previous year paper as well. After completing each topic try to solve the questions for that topic from PYQ papers. This will help in revising the topic. Once you complete whole syllabus start attempting the question papers within the duration of JNUEE. This will help you in time management skills.

The Prayagraj University or Luckhnow University M.com entrance exam syllabus will be from bcom, you have to study what you have studied in your graduation, the exam will be of two hours.15 minutes will be provided for entry in paper and for invigilator.

As a state governmental university, university of Lucknow is a good institute with well experienced faculty which provides ample of opportunities to its students.

For a B.A. programme the faculty is polite and professional, they help the students in academics. The environment is friendly but there are a lot of politics involved in this university. The curriculum is excellent and it helps to prepare for competitive exams.

Yes there is no option to select your exam center location and not much information is available for the same on their site. You will get to know about the exam center only when admit card is released. I have gone through their form filling guidelines and in that also they had not mentioned about it. If you want to get admission to the Ph.D. programme of Lucknow University then you must have Master's degree with a recognized instructional body ,with at least 55 percent marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7-point scale.
The Lucknow University will take admission through an entrance test named Centralized Entrance Test (CET) for Ph.D program.
The entrance test will take place in major selected cities of india.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.El.Ed. is to pass in the 10+2 examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.The expected date for Online application process is Second week of  Mar 2020 and the entrance exam will take place in May.
You can apply for Lucknow University B.El.Ed application Form 2020 in online mode from the official website.

you may enroll in post graduate diploma in mass media (2 years duration ) after completing your graduation in any discipline, some colleges have entrance test and some takes admission through your graduation marks based. I have mentioned  some college name which provides pgdm in mass media. you need to directly apply in college official website.

College Infrastructure

Classrooms are good enough but there are no modern facilities. The library is there, but more organized and up to date in book editions. The college itself is good in terms of campus but the hostel facility is below average.

College infrastructure is good but it was quite old and non AC class rooms but the building was good. Fully wifi campus and department has computer lap aur library. Class room was big and sitting capacity of 80 students in class room
