infrastructure is pretty . The classrooms are equipped with what we need, and the library and computer labs are useful. The hostels are decent, though they could definitely use some improvements in maintenance. Overall, the campus has what we need.

Infrastructure of the college is very good. Nice classrooms. There is a good library for studying. Food is also good. They are charging per year for a four-seater room without food is little high.. Prices have increased.

Vels School of maritime studies provide average placement opportunities to the students of Bachelor of Engineering Marine Engineering. K Line and Molta are some of the companies which provide placement opportunities. Dr.MGR educational and research institute located in Chennai is one othe old college, established in year 1988. It is approved by UGC,Union Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India. It offers various courses on UG, PG, Ph.d and Diploma.

Data science is somewhat more vast than machine learning as you will have statistics in depth on your mathematics syllabus. It is the branch for those interested to become a data scientist in future.
While Machine Learning involved one to understand many algorithms available inthe market. In this field, the mathematics do not have as much statistics as DS but logic building courses are included for understanding the algorithms.
I suggest you to go for one, which interest you more either statistics (DS) or algorithms (ML).
