Applied College of Management and Engineering (ACME), Palwal, is a reputed college providing various courses in management and engineering. The college adopts a merit-based admission policy and admits deserving students to various courses. ACME is associated with concerned authorities and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which ensures providing quality education.
The process of entry in ACME is usually the same as the nationwide entry test dates. Entry to engineering courses takes place on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) scores, usually in January and April. Entry to MBA takes place on the basis of Management Aptitude Test (MAT) scores, the test taking place several times a year. Scores of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are taken for postgraduate engineering courses.
Eligibility criteria differ based on the course. In B.Tech courses, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates for pursuing MBA should have a bachelor's degree in any stream with minimum percentage as determined by the institute. Application Process
ACME admission process differs on the program chosen:
For B.Tech courses:
1. Clear JEE Main entrance exam.
2. Get admission to Haryana engineering colleges through centralized counseling.
3. Opt for ACME and choice of courses while counseling.
4. On seat allotment, report to ACME for payment of fee and document verification.
For MBA course:
1. Complete the MAT or other approved management entrance exams.
2. Direct admission to ACME on the basis of test scores.
3. Face any other selection procedures carried out by the institute.
4. Attend admission procedures in ACME if selected.
For Diploma courses:
1. Find out the respective diploma course admission details on the website of ACME.
2. Apply for admission through the college directly or through the state diploma admission process.
3. Attend selection procedures or counseling as notified by ACME.
4. Report for admission process if chosen.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: ACME provides B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Admission is provided on the basis of scores in JEE Main. The college has 330 seats for these programs with 120 seats in Mechanical Engineering, 90 seats in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and 60 seats in each of Computer Science and Civil Engineering.
MBA: The college provides a two-year full-time MBA with 60 seats. The admission is on the basis of MAT scores, and additional selection procedures are conducted as per the institute.
Diploma Courses: ACME provides three-year diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering with 60 seats in each. The admission in these courses could be different from the B.Tech courses and would be mainly based on state-level entrance tests or 10+2 merit.
