The college infrastructure is equipped with sufficient amenities such as library, laboratory, spacious classrooms, small market for stationary items, computer centre and a canteen with tasty chole bhature & chai. There are total 8 hostels (7 boys, 1 girls) where you get a spacious garden, playground for each hostels, fast WiFi & ethernet connection in each room, okay-ish food, common washroom & a water cooler in the mess room.

Since this is a regional college, most of the teachers belong from upper Assam & the language commonly used to teach is Assamese which can be a struggle for non Assamese speakers. But, it's not that hard to understand. With time, you get the hang of it & you'll start to understand. Coming to quality of the teachers, some teachers are highly interested to teach while some are just little lethargic (senior teachers specially) which is the same case in other reputed colleges as well.

Coming to placement, this is the area which depends upon the TPS of that year. Luckily, the Training & Placement Cell has been doing a good job in recent years to bring mass recruiting companies such as TCS, Infosys etc and also PSU's such as IOCL, OIL which offered high package to the deserving students. So, yes placement scenario is good but you should be worthy of it to land a lucrative package in one of the PSU's if you desire so.

Assam engineering College has good infrastructures labs and libraries for the mtech program it has a dedicated hostel for the postgraduate students.The classes are equipped with whiteboards and projection facility they also have sports centres. living spaces are clean and the food hygienic the same is maintain throughout

I'm pursuing and take in power system engineering as I skin interest in the power system sector. The quality of teaching is quite high as they have very experienced faculties and the curriculum is updated as per the new developments the lab infrastructure is also very good and overall it makes you prepared as per the job market standards

Placement quality is very good around 70% of the students over please and the highest salary recorded was 6lp the average salary is around 4lpa. Placement process is very smooth and the colleges very supportive and provides adequate trainings and skill development.

Cost per year is around 12000 it's very economical compared to the standards of study that is provided and the placement assistance that is given

College campus is very beautiful and safe for handling emergencies. it has a dedicated medical centre .The best part about the college campus is its good environment and infrastructure. the teachers student relationship is very friendly. the college is located in jalukbari Guwahati. the students can engage in various academic and non academic activity inside the college campus

I was studying Electrical engineering as i had interest in electrical machines and power equipments. The quality of teaching is very good and frequent evaluation takes place. The curriculum is definitely updated as per the market standards and other job required qualities are also taught. I believe Whatever we study makes us ready for the outside job market

The overall quality of the placements in Assam engineering College is great companies from both the core and IT sector are involved in the placements. Unhone average 80% of the students list and the highest salary package offered was 15lpa and it was offer to student of electrical engineering. Average salary offered was around 4 lpa and the placement cell ensures smooth placement rounds and helps the applicant by conducting classes for communication skills,group discussion etc

The annual course cost per year was around Rs 7500 which I believe is the least among the all the engineering colleges. The quality of education and the placements provided by Assam engineering College is definitely worth every penny

Assamese engineering college is situated in jalukbari Guwahati. It has a beautiful campus covered by nature throughout.the best part about the college campus is its serenity and the educational atmosphere that thrives . It is little far from the main heart of the city. Other than educational stuff students can engage in various activities such as outdoor sports and indoor games cultural events like Bihu. One can also so be part of many clubs. Campus is safe and has dedicated health centre

Since Assam Engineering College is one of the oldest colleges in Assam, the infrastructure is poor. The buildings are old,the laboratory materials are not good, bathrooms are not well maintained and same goes for the hostels too,wi-fi doesn't work properly , sports materials are not good. And regarding hygienty in hostels, it is really poor.

It is good to some extent but people here don't talk about the recent technologies and developments . The method of learning and teaching is still traditional which is not beneficial at all. More improvised and advanced things must be taught in the college.

The quality of placement is poor. Around 30% people gets placed,I guess. The highest salary package offered is around 10-12 lpa,that too only in PSU s. The average salary offered is around 3 lpa. The college was supportive for the placement process.

The college campus is good. But the government must take measures to control the monkeys,leopards,pythons,cows, which causes a lot of disturbances in classes, the leopards sometimes roams freely in the campus and sometimes cow dung is found in the classrooms. The students and the staff is average. It is located in a beautiful place covered with greenery. Yes,it can handle emergencies to some extent.

Yes my college have all the basic infrastructure, facilities and equipments. We have one library ,one canteen , laboratories are well equipped and there are eight hostels . All the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.

The placement scenario is not satisfactory. All engineering college have the same situation but compared to other colleges AEC being a reputated institute of region has comparatively good. But still it's not that satisfying.

Our course cost around fifteen thousand per annum. Yes I feel that I am getting my money's worth because I am getting an engineer degree at a very low cost.

Campus is quite beautiful. It is situated between hills on back side and depoor bell (lake) on front side . The campus has greenary everywhere but the main problem is it doesn't have proper boundary wall .

Placement of our college is good but not upto the level of IIT s . The highest salary package offered is 16 lacs per annum. Average salary offered is almost 6-7 lacs per annum. I don't know so much about the placement process as I am a 2nd year student.

Our campus is just awesome located beside a hill and a large lake named as Deepor Beel. One of the main problem of our campus is that it doesn't have proper boundary wall.

The quality of placement is good enough for students who have above 6.5cgpa or about 60 percentage but somewhere exception are there. the highest package offered is 22 lakhs per annum by oil India limited and 18 lakhs per annum from NRL and average package offered is around 6 lakh per annum.
