The infrastructure should definitely improve and the equipments are old and should be renewed. As it is an Engineering college, it should have all the latest equipments and modern technology which it is lagging at the moment. Classrooms are quite old and need renovation to be honest. Also classes should have the facilities of smart education.

I am pursuing B tech in Mechanical. The quality of teaching is quite good but some departments have the scope of improvement. The curriculum is quite orthodox and needs renewal. Because our course doesn't match us up with the levels of examinations like GATE.

The placements has been decreasing year after year and is a major cause of concern. There are quite talented students in all the departments passing out with good grades but fail to secure a job worth their hard work.

The value for money is satisfactory. As it is a government college hence the fees is not quite high and hence students from every background can study here without hesitation. So I think we are getting the worth of our money.

The campus is good and large, but with no real protection. There have been cases of stealing , robbery etc which is unacceptable inside an educational campus. Also there are frequent cases of leopards entering the campus and hostels. And nothing has been done to ensure our safety.

The college has scope of improvement overall. Education facilities should improve and also the placements.

our college have all the basic infrastructure, facilities and equipment but the building is old. we have a central library , laboratories are well maintained and there are eight hostels . we have smart board in our classes and the living spaces are clean.

I am doing B. tech degree in instrumentation engineering. The quality of teaching in our college is good all the teachers are highly qualified. yes our curriculum is updated regularly. yes what we study make us job ready.

The quality of placements in our college is not very good. About thirty to fourty percent students are placed every year. The average package offered is around eight thousand per annum. yes the placement process is easy and plesant for me.

My course cost around fourteen thousand per annum. Yes i feel that i am getting my money worth because Assam Engineering college is one of the most reputed college of north east india.

our college campus is awesome with very good natural beauty . We have greenary everywhere in our college. We have four field and a large pond in our campus.

we also have a gym , basketball court and lawn tennis court etc

The college has medium infrastructure....the facilities and equipments are good... There is free Wi-Fi in some parts of the campus. They are well-maintained. Living spaces are medium with not so good food

Good quality of placements. Almost 60% of students per year are placed in different companies across the world. The average salary offered is 7lpa-8lpa.Yes our college is supportive.The T&P cell of aec is too active

The course costs Rs. 14000/- per year. Yes, I feel we are getting our money's worth as the placements are good as well as we are trained nicely

College campus is open type. Best features is that it is situated near the city so any needy things can be collected with not much problems. There are many co-curricular activities available for the college students. Yes the staff is good and the location is very good and it is quite safe inside the campus. Yes it can handle emergencies

College infrastructure is good all the necessary facilities & equipments are arevided.we have free WiFi in library and smart board in classroom.all are in well maintained condition.living spaces are not so cleen specially the washrooms.food is good.

Quality of placement is excellent.every year almost 50% students got placed.highest package so far is 20 lac in b.tech.average salary offered is 6-8lacs.placement processes are easy.college is supportive.

Campus is very good.it provides all the necessary facilities.support staff is very good.its located near hills.but it is safe.hospitals and police station located near it

Our college have all the basic necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Laboratories are well maintained. We have a central library. We have College wifi and the living spaces are clean and hygienic.

Our college campus is very beautiful with greenary everywhere. But it dont have proper boundary wall.

The infrastructure is mediocre.... Not too good and not too bad. There labs and other things have all the necessary equipments and wifi is available in the college building as well as in all the hostels. But the sports infrastructure is really poor.

I'm studying civil engineering as mechanics was one of my favourite topics right from school and I was always fascinated by huge structures and wanted to learn what goes into making these marvels. But I wouldn't say that the teaching staff is brilliant. There are talented teachers undoubtedly but many lack the art of teaching and don't know how to draw the attention of the students. I would say there are only doing their job for namesake just to get paid.

It is decent and along the ones who get placed, many get decent salary offers. But then again, the total percentage of placed students is very less keeping in mind the fact that it is the oldest technical college in North east

Education here would cost much less as compared to many other government colleges. 4 years in this college will cost less than 4 lakhs for most of the students. Considering this fact that the fees is really less, no one would complain about the education here.

One unique thing about the campus is that you will find residential building inside the campus itself, which even I didn't hear of before getting into this college. One thing that lacks here is proper security. No guards are found at the college gate or anywhere else.

One bad thing is that the hostel management is completely upon the seniors and hence most of them take undue advantage of it. The seniors get their works done by juniors and a lot goes on inside the hostels. The hostel management should be made stricter and every hostel should be alloted a warden to keep a check on the bad activities of some selfish seniors

Yes we have well equipped class rooms. We have smart classrooms, a central library, a basket field, lawn tennis field, football field, cricket field. We have wifi in college and hostel and all the living spaces are clean and hygienic.

The location of college is very good. It is located at a place far away from the city beside a large lake and a hill. Our college have good natural beauty with greenary everywhere. The students and teachers are very supportive. And the location is totally safe.

College infrastructure is good to comparison than others, government college in Assam.. I fell well in this infrastructure.. This campus gives us IIT felling specially i fell like so. And many more construction going on as well

Quality of teaching is good. We teach here quality education. Students can bulii their careers form here. Teachers tech like that one can easily crack an entrance and he/she survived this corporate world

Placement is outstanding here as well as India and multinational companies. They love to get here an engineer bcz the teacher give quality education. Many more oil companies come here for employees. I would like to more have to multinationals companies

The cost of money per year 15000, it's too much costly for many student it is difficult to earn. So myself suggested or i would happy if the education free for all the students. I think if it can happen than the education earn easily

Campus life is not good here I fell soo. In engineering college there's no market. The students can trouble to buy things. As well the bus service also not good here only four bus ability here this very less for this campus.

I would like to give overall rating good. I wish that more companies come here for placements. The placement is not good here.

Our collage campus is not very good as compared to other central institutes. Our college don't have a proper boundary wall now it is being constructed though. The buildings are old . But one good thing is that our campus have greenary everywhere.

The infrastructure is good.The college has sufficient facilities and equipments that are required for each department.Besides,the clasdrooms are well equipped with smart boards and is a good place to live in

Currently I am pursuing my B.Tech in Electrical branch and it is one of the best branches of the college.The quality is teaching is good and the teachers are also very cooperative.Besides the new syllabus is very much updated and provides all the necessary and recent developments in the field

Regarding placement AEC is good enough and many students were placed in core PSU's.Companies like infosys and many other IT companies also visit the campus and they hired a good amount of students from ETE and cse branch

The cost is less as it is a government engineering college.And yes in regard to money I would like to say it is completely worth it.

The coolege campus is good but yes one thing must needed to say that there is no fixed boundary wall.So the campus is not a closed campus afterall.The campus is located in Jalukbari and since it is in Guwahati so any kind of emergency can be tackled with great ease.
