Barak Valley Engineering College is located in Karimganj of Barak Valley Engineering College (BVEC). This institute aims to deliver quality technical education to the Barak Valley region of Assam. Degree wise Admission Process

- B.E. Civil Engineering: The program for this course is associated with the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying exam and maybe a state-level entrance test.
- B.E. Computer Science Engineering: This study focuses on the design and development of computer systems and software. Admission procedures are like other programs for B.E. offered by BVEC.
- B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering: It largely covers the study of today's electronic devices and communication systems. Admissions criteria are understood to be the same with other engineering branches at BVEC.
- B.E. Mechanical Engineering: The course mainly talks about the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of all mechanical systems. The admission procedure is the same as that of other B.E. programs at the college.
All these programs require completion of the 10+2 schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics being compulsory subjects. A total of 240 seats was made available in all four B.E. programs put together.

Teaching quality is up to the mark with teachers using GOOGLE classroom for smooth assignment and notes distribution. Curriculum is under ASTU which is having updated syllabus which makes us ready for industry Internship.
