This college offers an unparalleled learning environment for aspiring computer scientists. Its specialized curriculum, dedicated faculty, and streamlined admission process make it a top choice for those seeking in-depth knowledge and future-ready skills in CSE. The focus on emerging technologies
I secured admission offers from both College A and College B, this college's academic rigor and dedicated faculty in CSE were decisive factors. The management quota admission process here was transparent and professionally managed. While it involved a different pathway than the merit-based entrance exams, the eligibility criteria still emphasized a strong academic background in relevant subjects at the 12th-grade level.
Our college provides excellent placement opportunities, equipping students with the skills and exposure needed to launch successful careers in the competitive tech industry. The consistent engagement of top companies and the commendable placement percentage underscore the quality of education and the industry relevance of our programs.
I am keen to leverage the strong foundational knowledge and practical skills gained to embark on a career as a Data Scientist in a dynamic and innovative organization. The curriculum's emphasis on machine learning and data analytics has particularly fueled
Campus life here is vibrant and enriching, extending far beyond academics. The social scene is incredibly welcoming, fostering strong bonds among students through various events and informal gatherings. Involvement in clubs is highly encouraged and provides fantastic avenues for exploring diverse interests and developing leadership skills. Our annual cultural fest
Nothing else

CiTech follows the VTU curriculum, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application. The academic environment is structured, with regular assessments, lab sessions, and project work. Faculty members are supportive and encourage students to pursue certifications, internships, and self-learning beyond the syllabus. Overall, the academics are well-paced and industry-relevant.
Placements at CiTech are decent, especially for CSE and ISE branches. The Training & Placement Cell organizes regular drives, with companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini visiting the campus. The average package ranges between ₹4–5 LPA, with the highest going up to ₹12 LPA. Students are also encouraged to take up internships and build industry-ready skills to boost employability.
CiTech offers good value for money, especially for students in CSE and related branches. With decent infrastructure, supportive faculty, and growing placement opportunities, the education and campus experience justify the fees. Students who actively engage in projects, internships, and certifications get the best returns on their investment.
Campus life at CiTech is vibrant and student-friendly. From tech clubs and cultural fests to sports and workshops, there's always something happening. The crowd is diverse and welcoming, and students actively participate in events, competitions, and club activities. The overall environment strikes a good balance between academics and fun.
Yes, the college has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and proper ventilation. The labs are well-maintained with up-to-date systems and tools, especially for computer science and other engineering branches. The library has a good collection of books, journals, and digital resources, along with a peaceful reading area. The campus has Wi-Fi access, although it can be patchy in some areas. Sports facilities are decent, with a ground for cricket, football, and courts for badminton and basketball. There's also a decent canteen offering affordable food, though the variety could be better. Hostel facilities are available with basic amenities and security.
I’m studying Computer Science and Engineering because I’ve always been curious about how technology works and wanted to build something of my own—maybe even an app or a game someday! CSE opens up a lot of career options in both software and innovation, which makes it a solid choice for the future.
The placement quality at our college is fairly good, especially for branches like Computer Science, Information Science, and ECE. A decent number of companies visit during placement season, ranging from mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys to some mid-level and product-based companies. The highest package goes up to around 56 LPA for a few students, while the average package lies between 5 L to 7L
Total fees for CSE kcet students - 130000 Scholarships can be applied based on categories Exemptions are done based on categories
The campus at Cambridge Institute of Technology is a mix of modern and traditional infrastructure. The best part is the well-maintained labs and spacious classrooms that make learning more engaging. The Wi-Fi, though sometimes unreliable, is available across the campus. The campus has a decent sports ground and a variety of recreational spaces for students to unwind. On the downside, the canteen can get crowded, and the variety of food could be better. As for activities, students can participate in fests, sports competitions, technical clubs, and cultural events. Overall, it’s a vibrant campus with room for improvement.
The infrastructure is also well maintained, with good classrooms, clean labs, a library, and spaces for relaxing between classes. There are areas for sports and cultural events too, making the campus life balanced between academics and enjoyment.
The curriculum provides a good balance of theory and hands-on experience. Lab work, project assignments, and industry-relevant topics . Exams are usually held mid-semester and at the end of each semester. Most are moderately difficult, testing both understanding and memory.
As a first-year student, I haven’t yet explored the internship opportunities fully, so I don’t have personal experience with them. However, I’ve heard from seniors that the college actively supports and encourages students to take up internships
I’m from the 2024–2028 batch and currently pursuing Computer Science and Engineering (BE) at Cambridge Institute of Technology. Since I’m still in my first year, I don’t have direct placement or internship experience yet. However, based on what I’ve heard from my seniors, the placement percentage in the CSE department is quite good—around 80–90% of eligible students get placed.
The infrastructure is also well maintained, with good classrooms, clean labs, a library, and spaces for relaxing between classes. There are areas for sports and cultural events too, making the campus life balanced between academics and enjoyment.
Very good college
Wi-Fi connections and library infrastructure are really good here, and classrooms and labs are pretty decent. Hostel food is really healthy, and a good diet is followed here. Other than that, sports and medical facilities are as usual. It's really impressive to see different types of clubs in this college.
The teachers' teaching is at a decent level here. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are pretty difficult. The pass percentage would depend on yearly. The course is designed to equip the students with the skills, concepts, and principles of computing and helps develop an understanding of its application in computing system design, implementation, and usage.
Out of 100, almost 70% of students were placed in the college. The highest salary was 24 LPA, and the lowest average was around 3-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Amazon and PhonePe. Top roles offered here depend on the company and the student’s interview basis. It may be data analysis in my branch.
The engineering department has well-equipped computer labs, and the library is filled with e-books and textbooks. All basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, study areas, and playgrounds are well maintained. The hostel has the best food and well-furnished rooms. Students can play sports in their free hours.
Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide notes and conduct regular tests to help students understand what they are taught. The course curriculum includes industrial visits, internal and external exams, internships, and projects. Semester exams can be passed easily, but due to tough evaluation, scoring above 90 percent is difficult.
70 percent of our seniors got placed in companies through campus selection. The highest package offered is 10 Lacs per annum, the lowest being 2 Lacs per annum, and many students received offers with an average package of 4 to 6 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are HP, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Godrej, and many more. All students get internships in companies that are recommended by our lecturers.
There's Wi-Fi all around the campus, facilities are really good, vending machines, canteen, resting place, etc. The best place that I feel is the library, which is really attractive and gives a studious vibe. Hostel facilities are also good, like hot water, security guards, daily cleaning, and all.
Teachers are very much qualified, excellent, and are really good in whatever they do. They boast immense knowledge in them. Doubt clearing sessions, personal attention, practice sessions, etc. Semester exams have the same amount of difficulty as in any other college. I personally feel whatever the course curriculum, it's working.
I'm currently pursuing the course so can't really tell about placements, but what I have heard from my seniors and teachers, companies like Accenture, TCS, etc., are some of the top recruiters. Top IoT roles like IoT Architect, Security Specialist, and Data Analyst, in cybersecurity, key roles include Analyst, and Security Engineer.
Faculty members are very helpful, including teaching and non-teaching staff. College infrastructure is decent; the most attractive part is the lavish green lawn, and the library is amazing and peaceful. You can find a variety of books for different courses. We have both boys’ and girls’ hostels. Mess food has a different menu each day. We also have a gym, sports room, playground, etc.
College curriculum is well-structured and well-planned. We have a total of 3 theory exams each semester, two are internals and the third one is a semester-end examination. They also conduct a lab external for a few subjects. The syllabus is similar to other VTU-affiliated colleges.
Placements in this college are pretty decent; almost 80% of students get placed with an average package of 5-6 LPA. They also give placement training from the 5th semester onwards and give several opportunities for internships; some are paid, and others are not.
The college infrastructure was too bad; it is almost one floor, with a very poor signal. The classrooms are sufficient for students. Wi-Fi is available but only for college management people, and the hostel food was very bad, and maintenance of the hostel was bad; there was no cleaning of rooms.
The exams were held every year. There are two semesters; they conduct both internals and externals, and three internals were held. They will take the average of two internals; you must pass in internals; otherwise, in the external exam, they will make you not eligible. The exams were held under the VTU system.
Very few people got selected in campus selection. Most of the pass-out batches did not get jobs. The computer science course will get college placements. The highest package is 3 lacs per annum, and the least package is 1 lac per annum. It is selected based on the percentage on the inter degree.
Hello,
It is now your choice between CiTech, Bangalore, and Sapthagiri College of Engineering as you're also paying to attend this course.
Some of the major reasons that make CiTech prominent include state-of-the-art infrastructure, vigorous academic support, and innovation. It boasts, among other things, a very strong placement cell associated with TCS, Infosys, and Wipro among others. This is one of the big positive features for students who look for good job opportunities after the completion of their academic tenure. Research and development are also on the priority list and, therefore, it is even more suitable for tech-lovers.
On the other hand, Sapthagiri College of Engineering is more consolidated in its presence with emphasis on holistic development. The faculty members and campus atmosphere are also amiable. Placement is at a reasonable level, especially in core branches of engineering with good industry-network, especially in IT and manufacturing sectors.
Both the institutes would provide solid engineering programs. Your decision may depend on campus culture, preferred specialty, and long-term career goals.
Hello,

Hello Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances for any particular campus or branch because the cut-offs keep on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-
*** number of candidates appeared in KCET 2022
*** difficulty level of the paper
*** top score for KCET 2022
*** total number of seats available for admission and so on
However on the basis of previous year's cut-off you have almost NO chances to get CSE/ISE branch in Cambridge Insititute of Technology Bangalore because last year the closing rank in Round 1st was 49k for ISE branch and 37k for CSE branch .
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-cutoff
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can also use KCET College Predictor for more accurate predictions :-
