Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Government Polytechnic is one of the premier technical colleges situated at Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in the year 2005. This is a government-owned polytechnic, situated in a large area of 8 acres of land, and is committed to training engineers of good standard. The institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers four diploma courses with a capacity of 708 in total. The polytechnic has a strong, devoted, and qualified faculty consisting of 16 members, all of whom are experienced professionals.

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Government Polytechnic is well equipped with several state-of-the-art facilities to facilitate all these academic activities. Students get to work within a properly equipped IT environment, which is vital in case of constant updates of technology. The polytechnic has functional labs in each of its departments in order to afford the technical training that is central to polytechnic education. An auditorium is an assembly of a building for seminar that helps to organise some events for the exchange of ideas. Academic students’ needs are met within the library, which is endowed with vast knowledge systems. The campus enjoys amenities such as canteen services for the sale of foods and recreation or refreshment purposes and systematic training and exercise amenities such as a gym. Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Government Polytechnic provides over four diploma courses, and all of those courses have a duration of three years. Such programmes will comprise a diploma in information technology, a diploma in computer science and engineering, a diploma in electronics engineering, and a diploma in electrical engineering. Ideally, each course has an approved student enrolment of 54 students, which showcases the institute's policy to maintain an appropriate student-teacher ratio. The provisions of these programmes are on an annual basis, charging a fee of Rs 32,820 for enabling the access of quality technical education by more candidates.
