College of Pharmacy Eligibility Process

College of Pharmacy B.Pharma Admission Process 

B.Pharma: The Bachelor of Pharmacy course in the college is a four-year undergraduate programme with an approved intake of 60. Admissions to the course shall be merit-based and co-ordinated by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Kilpauk. The 10+2 qualification for the B.Pharm. programme is Physics Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.

College of Pharmacy D.Pharma Admission Process 

D.Pharma: This is a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy programme offered by the College and has a bigger seat capacity of 120. The programme is shortened in duration for those who wish to enter pharmacy quickly. The admission likely is on similar merit-based criteria as for the B.Pharma.

College of Pharmacy M.Pharma Admission Process 

  • M.Pharma : The specialised M.Pharma programmes offered are as follows :
  • M.Pharma - Pharmaceutics
  • M.Pharma - Pharmacognosy
  • M.Pharma - Pharmaceutical Chemistry Each of these masters programmes has a duration of two years. 

The M.Pharma aspirants must take an aptitude test conducted by the Selection Committee. This ensures that the candidates have the right merit to undergo advanced studies in pharmacy. While the maximum number of seats in each specialisation is not mentioned, the college keeps the intake limited to ensure quality education and individual attention.

College of Pharmacy Documents Required

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • B.Pharma degree certificate and mark sheets (M.Pharma applicants).
