It's just normal as it should be. Nothing much fancy as such. The basic amenities are available and the ground also has a descent area for fests and sports. Overall it's not worth the fee amount but it's just ok.
I am pursuing Bachelors of commerce (Honours course) to have a career in the commerce domain. The quality of teaching is fine. Teachers teach what they should not more or less than that. The curriculum is as per the guidelines.
I don't have much idea about placements but as much I have heard there are not much placements and if there are, not for very big firms/companies/body corporates. May be depends on the scores overall.
The infrastructure is decent.College lacks some basic facilities such as clean drinking water, wifi and ac in classrooms. Other than that in our laboratories there are good equipment in working condition.
I am persuing botany hons. And the faculty is really good .Yes the curriculum is updated and include all the recent developments in the fields.Faculty is good they help us in every possible way and overall their teaching is good.
I am not very aware of the placement of college and specially in our course I don't think there are much opportunities of placements. It will be helpful if there will be more opportunities for courses like us.
I think the fees in little bit more than other colleges of North campus it will be worthy of we get some basic needs like wifi etc.
It's good
As a third year studenr at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, I’ve had a truly enriching academic an personal journey so far. DRC has it’s own charm and a mix of strong academics, an energetic student community and alot of growth opportunities.
Most of our faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable. They are often open to discussion and willing to guide you beyond the syllabus if you show interest, while some lectures can feel theory heavy.
If you take initiative you can build your own opportunities at DRC. There are seminars, workshops, placement talks, and society level networking events. While placements for BA program students might not be as structured as professional courses but those who work on their skills can get through easily
Yeah it’s average in that terms because of the infrastructure but the fees is extremely affordable.
I love that part, it’s great
Overall experiences is good in this college as the they do have the sufficient infrastructure but it could be made better. Wifi need to provide all across the college campus as the network is really bad inside the campus.
Academically the college is really good The teachers are really good and they are really supportive. The college really focuses on the academics of the students and try to complete the syllabus on time.
Well the quality of the placements is not very good. As most of the students do not get placement from college but those who do get are said to have average salary package.the quality of placement need to be improved.
Only some of the classrooms have AC's in it, which they barely work, it's really uncomfortable in the summer. They are renovating few spaces and building a separate block for humanities and commerce students.
I'm studying Eco Hons. The teachers are friendly, classes might get cancelled depending on the teacher but most of them do take classes as per the schedule. The curriculum is updated. They conduct regular doubt solving classes too.
The placement cell is good and guide through the placement season, which makes it a little less burdensome. Some of the seniors got place in Accenture. Usually the highest package goes to Eco and Stats students.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure like labs and libraries but it's campus is quite small and so are classrooms. very few smart boards and no wifi. College is well maintained and clean in this.
I'm studying life science, and both theory and practical is taught well, and classes are very regular. But it doesn't make me job ready and follows old school teaching methods. Overall curriculum is old.
Placement are not good. Average package is very low. It's mostly around 6 lpa average and highest goes to 23 lpa. The no. of companies that come for placement drives are very less. Could be better in this.
The infrastructure of the college is average—nothing too fancy, but it meets the basic needs. However, the library stands out as one of the best parts of the college. It's well-maintained, has a good collection of books, and provides a peaceful environment that’s perfect for studying.
I am currently pursuing a BA Programme with a combination of History and Political Science. This subject combination provides a deep understanding of historical events and political systems, which helps in developing analytical and critical thinking skills. It’s a great choice for students interested in civil services, teaching, or research-based careers. At my college, almost all the faculty members are really good. They are supportive, well-qualified, and approachable. They teach in an engaging manner and are always ready to help students with their doubts. Regular classes are held, and students are encouraged to participate in discussions. However, the workload is a bit high. Since it is a programme course, there are frequent submissions, assignments, and tests across all subjects, often scheduled around the same time, which can be quite stressful. The infrastructure of the college is average—classrooms and facilities are basic, but functional. One of the best parts of the college is the library. It is quiet, well-maintained, and has a good collection of books, making it a perfect place to study. In my opinion, it’s not just about the campus but about how you use your time. Joining societies really helps in learning, exposure, and overall growth.
To be honest, I’m not really aware of the placement scenario in my college because I haven’t explored that area much. Since I’m personally not interested in placements and plan to pursue further studies or explore other career paths, I never looked into the placement opportunities or the kind of companies that visit the campus.
The fees are almost three times higher compared to other North Campus colleges. For example, I’m pursuing a BA Programme and the fee is around ₹32,000 per annum, whereas in other colleges it's usually between ₹10,000 to ₹14,000 per annum for the same course. The environment here is good, but I personally believe that you have to find the right environment for your own growth. Joining active societies really helps—they offer a lot of opportunities for learning and development.
Ihave a different opinion about campus life. I believe it’s not really about the campus, it’s about the college itself. Just think practically—if you’re in Daulat Ram College, will you be interacting with SRCC students on a daily basis? Probably not. So, focus on choosing the right college, not just the campus.
The infrastructure is okay, could be better. The new classrooms are nice and have air conditioning which makes studying more comfy. The older ones don't have AC though. But the college hostel is pretty nice. Overall it's a decent setup for students.
Academics here are good. The college has a good focus on academics. Most of the faculty are good and knowledgeable. We also have mid semester exams. Overall, academics at Daulat Ram college is a nice experience
From what I've heard, placements here are good. I'm not totally sure about all the details yet. But the college's placement cell is very active in helping students get opportunities. Annually Incrementum (i.e. the internship and career fair)is held, so that's good.
Personally, I think it is worth the investment
Campus life depends on how outgoing you are, there is so much to explore if you want to.
Drc has a decent infrastructure. The Library is good and spacious with enough seating. However, college has poor WiFi connection expect in library. Washrooms are cmean enough but the auditorium washrooms are not.
My experience with a few teachers is good. They teach good and explain nicely but few others sometimes get confused themselves when asked a question. I've had one teacher two semesters and she doesn't even get to complete syllabus before end sems. We have to study few chapters on our own.
The placement cell is not so good. They don't bring very good internships for us. I don't know anything about the package offered here and very few students were placed. I only saw 3-4 companies come by for placement.
They charge fee higher than other colleges and it's not that worth.
Infrastructure is not well maintained. There is no department of Political science. Shortage of class rooms . Difficulty in scheduling of classes Poor infrastructure Greenery is there Some new classrooms are good
Sometimes professors are unhelpful but some professors are too good .They give us notes and study material. Some professors are quite disciplined and strict too. They are strict about attendance .They don't promote extra curricular
No help on part of placements No benefit No placements for me or my friends or group . We ourselves have to find and hunt stuffs for us No help on part of placements ........... ... . . .. ...
Yes
The activeness of societies has been the best part .I have worked at different levels .Overall ,college has been full of personality development and learnings!!

Hello,
In general, percentage cutoff will be 60%-75%. for top and recognized college and universities it will be above 80 to 95%.
for current year, cutoff may not follow previous year trends as it will also depend on how students has performed in current year. There will be some changes as the normal flow of process got stopped.
as of now, colleges are closed till july 31st. You can look for updates in the official webpage of the college in which you are interested.
Hope it helps!
