Duliajan College admission process generally begins after the announcement of 10+2 results by various boards. Though there are certain dates throughout the year, admissions generally happen in June-July for the August-September start academic year. There are 17 courses in 7 degree programmes, that is, BA, B.Sc, and B.Com with general and honours courses in most of the subjects.
For admissions to UG, the students must have finished their 10+2 from a recognised university. The marks obtained in the entrance test are considered by the college for admissions. While specific cut-offs can vary depending on the course as well as the number of applications, Duliajan College aims to make its selection process based on satisfactory academic standards.

Duliajan College offers BA courses with 7 specialisations, i.e., English, Assamese, Economics, Education, Political Science, Sociology, and History. Candidates are enrolled in BA courses based on the merit list drawn, taking into account the marks obtained in the qualifying 10+2 examination. The candidates must have passed their 10+2 in subjects related to the specialisation of their choice.
B.Sc courses with 5 specialisations (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology) are available in the college. Duliajan College admission to B.Sc courses is done based on merit. Students must pass 10+2 with Science subjects, and their performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology is typically taken into consideration for admission.
Duliajan College offers B.Com courses with 2 specialisations. Admissions to the B.Com course are made on a merit basis based on marks obtained in the 10+2 exam. Candidates who have studied Commerce or allied subjects at the 10+2 level can apply.
PGDCA course is also provided in the college. The admission to PGDCA is on a merit basis with relation to the performance of the candidate in his or her bachelor's degree. Eligibility criteria and admission procedure for PGDCA may be distinct from those of undergraduate programmes.

I have completed my graduation from here by taking English as a major subject. As I state that it is a College where 5000+ students are studied in three different streams– arts,commerce and science. It has completed its 50 glorious years and many students have passed their 12th board exam as well as completed their graduation with flying colours during those 50 years. There are 17 departments from arts science and commerce streams where many students have built up their career.
