Eligibility Criteria
Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Final Selection

The basic eligibility criteria remains 50% aggregate for General Category in Graduation and 45% for Reserved Categories or equivalent CGPA from any recognised University. The percentiles in CAT are considered for the further rounds. In 2018, the weightage given for various sections of CAT have been as follows:

QA: 30%

DILR: 30%

VARC: 40%
An additional 3 marks are added to the Composite score in case pf women for shortlisting. This score is used only for shortlisting Candidates for Personal Interview. The weightage for Final selection is as follows:

Personal Interview: 15%

CAT score: 60%

Group Discussion: 10%

Extempore: 5%

10th marks: 5%

12th marks: 5%

An additional 3 marks of the maximum aggregate will be added to the women candidates who have attended the Interview. Now with all this process, the cut offs is an important issue to be discussed. Previously FMS used to consider overall CAT score for shortlisting. However since the past 2 years, FMS has been giving sectional preference and weightage. VARC occupies the top position with 40% weightage. A Candidate with atleast 97 sectional weightage will be shortlisted at FMS. So it is important to focus more on VARC section while not leaving other sections. Higher cut offs are due to the intensity of the competition at FMS, Delhi. Their placements speak for themselves. FMS, Delhi concluded 2018 placemebts with an average placement package of 22.60 Lakhs for Women Candidates. Out of a batch of 223 Students, 215 participated in Placements and all of them have been placed there by leaving FMS, Delhi at the top in 100% Placement Companies. Hey,

As per 20172019 admission policy your break up will be as follows:

To get shortlisted for a interview call :

5.7 out of 7.5 for HSC

4.29 out of 7.5 for Graduation score.

1 out of 5 for Work Experience. (anything above 36 months gets you 1)

0 out of 5 for Academic and Gender diversity.

Rest 75 are for your CAT Score.

A decent 98 percentile might get you an interview call but converting the call will become difficult. As final shortlisting has a 35% weight to CAT score, rest being the PI and GD/ WAT scores along with work experience quality.

So, CAT score will be the real differentiating factor. Target anything above 99 and a decent WAT/ PI will sail you through IIMK

Hi,

As per the FMS cut-off for 2018 admission, the overall cut-off for general was 98.18, for OBC was 90.07, for SC was 82.19 and for ST was 58.50. There was also a different cutoff for the physically handicapped students as well. So in order to get into FMS try scoring as closest to 100 percentile in order to increase your chances of getting admission.

Diverse campus life, affordable, varying placements ????

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is different from department to department. Some departments have really high-tech facilities, and others are pretty basic. Libraries are fantastic for marketing resources. There are some problems with parking and Wi-Fi on many campuses.

FMS, University of Delhi
